Cairo è un dolce Pastore di 1 anno e 5 mesi che trova la vita in canile un po' stressante, anche se sta reagendo bene nonostante questo. Può essere un po' eccitabile quando esce dalla sua gabbia, ma si distrae facilmente e si calma con una guida. Una volta fuori, come molti Pastori, a volte abbaia se una persona sconosciuta lo sorprende, ma dategli un minuto per elaborare le cose e si calma, mostrando il suo lato amichevole. Cairo cammina bene al guinzaglio accanto ad altri cani e a volte può interagire con loro, mentre altre volte è perfettamente felice di disimpegnarsi e continuare per la sua strada. Può avere compagni di passeggiata, ma riteniamo che sarebbe meglio per ora essere l'unico cane nella sua nuova casa.

Cairo is looking for an understanding home that will give him time to settle, help him build confidence and continue his positive socialisation around other dogs. His new family should be prepared to offer consistent guidance, patience and positive reinforcement, helping him navigate the world while allowing him to make good choices at his own pace. It is particularly important that his socialisation continues, as he has shown us that he can be very good around other dogs when given the right opportunities. Cairo has so much potential, and we would love to see him leave kennel life behind and enjoy the comfort and security of a home of his own. If you have experience with Shepherds, enjoy getting out and about, and can offer Cairo the time, structure and understanding he needs, he could be the wonderful companion you have been looking for! Cairo is a sweet-natured 1-year-and-5-month-old Shepherd who is finding kennel life a little stressful, although he is coping well despite this. He can be a little excitable when first coming out of his kennel, but he is easily distracted and settles with guidance. Once out and about Like many Shepherds, he will occasionally bark if an unfamiliar person takes him by surprise, but give him a minute to process things and he soon comes around, showing his friendly side. Cairo walks nicely on the lead alongside other dogs and can sometimes enjoy interacting with them, while at other times he is perfectly happy to disengage and continue on his way. He can have walking buddies, but we feel he would be best suited to being the only dog in his new home for now.
