Cairo cherche un foyer compréhensif qui lui donnera le temps de s'installer, l'aidera à gagner en confiance et à poursuivre sa socialisation positive avec d'autres chiens. Sa nouvelle famille doit être prête à offrir une orientation cohérente, de la patience et de la renforcement positif, l'aidant à naviguer dans le monde tout en lui permettant de faire de bons choix à son propre rythme. Il est particulièrement important que sa socialisation se poursuive, car il nous a montré qu'il peut être très gentil avec d'autres chiens lorsqu'il a les bonnes opportunités. Cairo a tant de potentiel, et nous aimerions le voir quitter la vie en chenil et profiter du confort et de la sécurité d'un foyer à lui. Si vous avez de l'expérience avec les Bergers, aimez sortir et pouvez offrir à Cairo le temps, la structure et la compréhension dont il a besoin, il pourrait être le merveilleux compagnon que vous recherchez ! Cairo est un Berger doux de 1 an et 5 mois qui trouve la vie en chenil un peu stressante, bien qu'il y fasse face malgré tout. Il peut être un peu excité lorsqu'il sort de sa chenil, mais il est facilement distrait et se calme avec des conseils. Une fois dehors, Comme beaucoup de Bergers, il aboiera occasionnellement si une personne inconnue le prend par surprise, mais donnez-lui une minute pour traiter les choses et il se calme rapidement, montrant son côté amical. Cairo marche bien en laisse aux côtés d'autres chiens et peut parfois apprécier d'interagir avec eux, tandis qu'à d'autres moments, il est parfaitement heureux de se désengager et de continuer son chemin. Il peut avoir des copains de promenade, mais nous pensons qu'il serait le mieux adapté à être le seul chien dans son nouveau foyer pour l'instant.

Cairo is looking for an understanding home that will give him time to settle, help him build confidence and continue his positive socialisation around other dogs. His new family should be prepared to offer consistent guidance, patience and positive reinforcement, helping him navigate the world while allowing him to make good choices at his own pace. It is particularly important that his socialisation continues, as he has shown us that he can be very good around other dogs when given the right opportunities. Cairo has so much potential, and we would love to see him leave kennel life behind and enjoy the comfort and security of a home of his own. If you have experience with Shepherds, enjoy getting out and about, and can offer Cairo the time, structure and understanding he needs, he could be the wonderful companion you have been looking for! Cairo is a sweet-natured 1-year-and-5-month-old Shepherd who is finding kennel life a little stressful, although he is coping well despite this. He can be a little excitable when first coming out of his kennel, but he is easily distracted and settles with guidance. Once out and about Like many Shepherds, he will occasionally bark if an unfamiliar person takes him by surprise, but give him a minute to process things and he soon comes around, showing his friendly side. Cairo walks nicely on the lead alongside other dogs and can sometimes enjoy interacting with them, while at other times he is perfectly happy to disengage and continue on his way. He can have walking buddies, but we feel he would be best suited to being the only dog in his new home for now.
