Capitano è un bell'animale di circa 4 anni, un Pastore Tedesco con un aspetto impressionante e tanta personalità. Trovato abbandonato nelle strade dell'Inghilterra, la sua storia iniziale è sconosciuta, ma da quando è stato accolto da Islay Dog Rescue, ha fatto grandi progressi ed è ora pronto a trovare una casa amorevole e permanente. Pesa 34,6 kg, Capitano è un cane grande e forte che certamente attira l'attenzione. Nonostante la sua taglia, mostra ancora momenti di comportamento giocoso tipico di un cucciolo. Cammina bene al guinzaglio la maggior parte del tempo, anche se a volte può tirare se qualcosa cattura la sua attenzione. Da quando è entrato in soccorso, è migliorato significativamente nel camminare al guinzaglio e nel comportamento generale, e un continuo addestramento lo aiuterà a raggiungere il suo pieno potenziale. Capitano vive molto bene in compagnia umana ed è un ragazzo affettuoso che ama abbracci e attenzioni. Diciamo però che ha anche un lato giocoso: dargli una palla o un suo gioco preferito e lui si concentrerà con entusiasmo sul tempo di gioco. Capitano cerca un ambiente stabile e sicuro con un padrone impegnato a continuare il suo addestramento e a aiutarlo a diventare la migliore versione di sé. In cambio, offrirà fedeltà, affetto e tante divertenti esperienze. È completamente vaccinato, con microchip e trattato per parassiti, sterilizzato. Captain is a stunning 4-year-old German Shepherd cross weighing approximately 36kg. Having been found abandoned, very little is known about his early history, but what we do know is that he is a lovable, playful boy with plenty of personality. Despite being 4 years old, Captain still has a puppy-like zest for life and is continuing to learn his manners. He is a strong dog who generally walks well on a lead, although he can pull when something catches his attention. One of his favourite habits on walks is finding treasures to carry, whether it's a ball, an empty bottle, or anything else he discovers along the way. Captain loves to play fetch and enjoys running around in a secure field where he can burn off energy and have fun. He thrives on interaction and would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. Due to his size, strength, and ongoing training needs, Captain cannot live with children. He also has a strong dislike of cats and therefore requires a cat-free home. Captain can be reactive towards some dogs. Ideally, he would be the only dog in the household. However, if there is a resident dog, careful and gradual introductions would be required to assess whether they could live together successfully. Staff are currently working on crate training to help him travel comfortably and confidently.
