Aggiornamento 19.12.2024: Felice CHAPPY non è sempre stato il tranquillo, affettuoso anziano che è oggi. Con tanto amore e pazienza, ha fatto una completa svolta: da un cane spaventato che non si poteva toccare a... beh, guardate voi stessi! È un vero esempio di come l'amore possa cambiare qualcuno. Chappy ora è molto buono con le persone, ama i coccoloni e adora i suoi giocattoli che fanno rumore. Aggiornamento 9.7.2024: Chappy è ancora con noi. È un anziano e è nero. Dovrà rimanere tutta la vita in un rifugio? Aggiornamento 17.1.2023: Chappy è ancora felice. Si è abituato molto bene alle persone. Ha bisogno di un po' di tempo per riscaldarsi con le persone che non conosce, probabilmente a causa del suo passato, ma anche perché non abbiamo tanti uomini nel rifugio. È semplicemente un anziano felice che gode di ogni tipo di attenzione che può ricevere. Ama i coccoloni e i suoi giocattoli che fanno rumore, ma mai li distrugge. È molto pulito, non fa mai i bisogni all'interno della sua gabbia. È buono con gli altri cani, ma essendo lui stesso un anziano preferirebbe una casa più tranquilla senza ragazzi chiassosi. Probabilmente non andrebbe d'accordo con i gatti. Sì, non va d'accordo con i gatti... La sua età. 12? Bene, 10+ Aggiornamento 31.12.2020 Chappy era legato a un albero per tutta la vita. Chappy è già un anziano e anche se non lo sembra, sembra capire che non c'è tempo per compatirsi o essere arrabbiato tutto il giorno. Chappy non è più come quando è arrivato al rifugio in luglio. Ora è felice. Potrebbe essere un anziano, ma c'è ancora abbastanza tempo per lui per scoprire com'è andare in passeggiata, dormire in una casa calda, avere una famiglia che si preoccupa di lui o addormentarsi sul divano accanto alla sua persona preferita. C'è ancora abbastanza tempo per tutte queste cose, se c'è qualcuno là fuori disposto a dargli una possibilità. Non Chappy, ma HAPPY! Aggiornamento 23.11.2020: Risulta che sia un uomo molto dolce e tenero non appena si fida di qualcuno. La sua storia: Mettetevi nei nostri panni. Qualcuno arriva davanti al rifugio. Vi dice che deve tornare nel suo paese e non può portare con sé il suo cane di 10 anni o più e non vuole abbandonarlo. Il cane non è mai stato vaccinato, non è mai stato castrato, non è mai stato trattato per parassiti e morde. Lo prendete? Mettetevi nei nostri panni. Benvenuto Chappy. Merda!

Over 10 years old, never vaccinated, neutered, or treated for parasites. Description/Updates/Pictures: Update March 2026: Update December 2024: Happy CHAPPY hasn’t always been the gentle, affectionate senior he is today. With lots of love and patience, he did a complete 180—from a frightened dog who couldn’t be touched to… well, see for yourself! He’s a true example of how love can change someone. Chappy is now great with people, loves cuddles, and adores his squeaky toys. Update July 2024: Update January 2023: Chappy is still happy. He has become very good with people. He needs a bit of time to warm up men he doesn´t know, Probably because of his past, but also because we don´t have many men at the shelter. He´s just a happy senior enjoying all kind of attention he can get. He loves cuddles and his squeaky toys, but never destroys them. He´s very clean, he never does his business inside his pen. He´s good with other dogs, but being a senior himself he´d prefer a more quiet home without any boisterous youngsters. Much likely not good with cats.
