Jack è un incrocio di media taglia di sette anni. Test per gatti fallito 🐶 Preferirebbe essere l'unico cane o vivere con cagne. Famiglia adulta solo necessaria. Jack ha gli occhi blu. Era appartenuto a una famiglia in Romania che lo teneva in una gabbia di 2x2. Non era legato ma non è mai stato portato a spasso né socializzato. Poi, a un certo punto, si sono stancati di lui e volevano prendere un cane corso o qualcosa del genere per sostituirlo. Un vicino ha preso Jack, ma non poteva tenerlo poiché aveva già tanti cani. Così è stato trasferito in un rifugio privato dove è rimasto quasi due anni e dove noi lo abbiamo visitato in due precedenti viaggi. È un vero tesoro. Jack è arrivato da noi nel Regno Unito circa due anni fa e abbiamo promesso di dargli una vita migliore. Sfortunatamente, nonostante i nostri migliori sforzi, non abbiamo mantenuto quella promessa. Ha trascorso gran parte di quei due anni in recinti di pensione poiché non riuscivamo neppure a trovargli un ospite, figurarsi una casa permanente. Jack cammina bene al guinzaglio e ama le sue passeggiate. Si diverte molto quando lo portiamo nel campo chiuso per divertirsi senza guinzaglio. Si intende bene con altri cani ma non gli piacciono alcuni maschi. Sarebbe felice come unico cane o con una femmina o delle femmine. Jack è invecchiato durante il nostro cura e si abbattisce molto nei recinti poiché ama tanto stare con gli umani, non troverete un cane più fedele e amorevole. Non può convivere con i gatti e desidera una famiglia adulta. Per favore, aiutateci a trovargli una casa così non dovrà trascorrere un altro Natale nei recinti, significherebbe il mondo per tutti noi. Jack è stato temporaneo a Wymondham Norfolk. Se sei interessato, scrivi o chiama tra le 9:00 e le 17:00 da lunedì a venerdì o tra le 9:00 e le 16:00 sabato. Le quote di adozione sono valide dal 1° dicembre 2025: Cuccioli già sterilizzati e tutti i cani adulti: £430. Cuccioli non sterilizzati su contratto di sterilizzazione: £530 (riceverai un rimborso di £100 una volta inviato a noi la prova della sterilizzazione). Cani anziani (10+ anni): £150–£250 (in base all'età e alle esigenze individuali). Termini e condizioni di adozione Quando adotti un cane di Safe Rescue, DEVI usare un guinzaglio scorrevole. Questo terrà il tuo cane al sicuro: il tuo nuovo cane sarà timido e non ti farà fiducia, e tu non saprai quali situazioni potrebbero preoccuparlo. Se il tuo cane si spaventa, allora un guinzaglio scorrevole è l'unica via per evitare che scappi (molti cani possono scappare da collari e/o imbracature). Ci vorranno ALMENO 3-6 mesi per farlo ambientare e conoscere pienamente il tuo cane (più a lungo per i cani ansiosi). Il guinzaglio scorrevole deve SEMPRE essere utilizzato durante questo periodo di ambientamento. Anche dopo che il cane si sarà ambientato, è più sicuro utilizzare il guinzaglio scorrevole in situazioni in cui il cane potrebbe spaventarsi (ad esempio, visitando luoghi nuovi, intorno a persone sconosciute, dal veterinario), e in situazioni in cui potrebbero verificarsi trigger imprevisti (ad esempio, intorno alla notte dei fuochi d'artificio). I cani ansiosi potrebbero dover indossare sempre un guinzaglio scorrevole come misura di sicurezza aggiuntiva. Il guinzaglio scorrevole è uno strumento di sicurezza e deve MAI essere utilizzato come strumento di addestramento. Utilizzare il guinzaglio per esercitare pressione sul collo del cane è dannoso. Se il tuo cane tira il guinzaglio, possiamo consigliarti metodi di addestramento che evitino danni. Una volta che il tuo cane si è ambientato, potresti considerare l'uso di una pettorina (insieme al guinzaglio scorrevole) se il cane è abituato a essere maneggiato quando è fissata. La maggior parte delle pettorine non è anti-scappatoia, ma pettorine con una cingia dietro le costole (es. Ruffwear Webmaster o Perfect Fit Harnesses) sono più sicure. Jack is a seven year old medium sized crossbreed. Failed Cat testing 🐶 Would prefer to be an only dog – or live with bitches adult only family needed Blue eyed Jack used to belong to a family in Romania who kept him in a 2×2 pen. Not on a chain but never walked, never socialised. Then at some point they got bored with him and wanted to get a cane corso or something similar to replace him with. A neighbour took Jack, but could not keep him since she already had a lot of dogs. So he was moved to a private shelter where he stayed for close to two years and where we visited him on two previous trips. He’s an absolute sweetheart. Jack came to us in the UK around two years ago and we vowed to give him a better life. Sadly, despite our very best efforts we have failed to fulfill that promise to him. He has spent much of that two years in boarding kennels as we couldn’t even find him a foster home never mind a forever one. Jack walks well on a lead and loves his walks. He has a fantastic time when we take him to the enclosed field for off lead fun. He gets on ok with other dogs but doesn’t like some males. He would be very happy to live as an only dog or with a female or females. Jack has aged whilst in our care and gets very down in kennels as he so loves to be with humans, you would not find a more loyal and loving dog. He cannot live with cats and would like an adult family. Please please help us to find him a home so that he doesn’t have to spend another Christmas In kennels, it would mean the world to all of us. Adoption Donation Fees From 1st Dec 2025 are Puppies already neutered and all adult dogs: £430. Un-neutered puppies on spay/neuter contracts: £530 (You will receive a £100 rebate once you send us proof of neutering). Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
