Lyric è un incrocio di media taglia con circa quattro anni. Non è stato testato con i gatti. Può vivere con o senza cane residente. Bambini rispettosi dai 10 anni in su. Abbiamo scoperto questa vera regina bella nel rifugio pubblico di Botosani quando siamo andati in visita a marzo. È passato qualche settimana per il suo turno di arrivare nel Regno Unito, ora è qui e pronta per un adottatore fortunato che venga a prenderla! Lyric è una ragazza dolce e mite con un lato birichino che sta appena iniziando a emergere. Dopo un breve periodo iniziale di timidezza verso le mani, impara presto a fidarsi ed è una compagna affettuosa e attenta. Può vivere con o senza un altro cane nella sua casa definitiva e sarebbe adatta a vivere con bambini rispettosi dai 10 anni in su. Se sei interessato, invia un messaggio o chiama tra le 9:00 e le 17:00 da lunedì a venerdì o tra le 9:00 e le 16:00 sabato. Le quote di adozione sono Puppies già castrati e tutti i cani adulti: £430. Puppies non castrati su contratti di castrazione: £530 (riceverai un rimborso di £100 una volta che ci invierai la prova della castrazione). Cani anziani (10+ anni): £150–£250 (in base all'età e alle esigenze individuali). Condizioni generali per l'adozione Quando adotti un cane di Safe Rescue, DEVI usare una guinzaglio a scatto. Questo terrà il tuo cane al sicuro: il tuo nuovo cane sarà ansioso e non ti farà fiducia, e non saprai quali situazioni potrebbero turbare il tuo cane. Se il tuo cane si spaventa, allora un guinzaglio a scatto è l'unica via per evitare che il cane scappi (molti cani possono scappare da collare e/o guinzaglio). Ci vorranno ALMENO 3-6 mesi per far abituare il cane e per conoscere pienamente il cane (più a lungo per i cani nervosi). Il guinzaglio a scatto deve essere SEMPRE utilizzato durante il periodo di adattamento. Anche dopo che il cane si è adattato, è più sicuro usare il guinzaglio a scatto in situazioni dove il cane potrebbe spaventarsi (ad esempio visitare luoghi nuovi, intorno a persone sconosciute, dal veterinario), e in situazioni dove potrebbero verificarsi trigger inaspettati (ad esempio intorno alla notte dei fuochi d'artificio). Lyric is a medium sized crossbreed aged around four years old. Not been cat tested. Can live with or without resident dog. Respectful children 10 plus. We discovered this absolute beauty queen in the Botosani public shelter when we visited in March. It’s taken a few weeks for her turn to come to arrive in the UK, she’s here now and ready for a lucky adopter to come and snap her up! Lyric is a sweet and gentle girl with a cheeky side that’s just beginning to emerge. After an initial short spell of hand shyness she soon learns to trust and is an affectionate and attentive companion. She can live with or without another dog in her forever home and would be suitable to live with respectful children aged ten plus. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
