Il volto di Minnie va dal bel beige e dal peso vivace al grigio, con ogni giorno che passa... Minnie è membro del nostro Club degli Anziani, cani con più di 10 anni, che nessuno sembra volere più. Minnie può essere un cane insicuro quando incontra nuove persone, ma una volta che conosce qualcuno anche un po', è il cane più affettuoso nel suo modo speciale. Le piacerà il massaggio e gli graffi e le snack e le parole incoraggianti dal suo umano personale e sarà anche rispettosa verso gli estranei quando l'umano parla con altre persone. Nello stesso tempo, Minnie cerca un umano che la protegga dall'attenzione indesiderata - gli estranei non dovrebbero importunare Minnie e andare a toccarla a caso, no, non le piace - questa signora anziana vuole la sua pace. Minnie adora sdraiarsi nella piscina e guardare cosa fanno gli altri. Si siede molto bene quando viene offerta una ricompensa e quando è felice corre intorno come un cervo giovane - non crederesti che abbia più di 11 anni! Cammina molto bene al guinzaglio. Minnie, con la sua età, soffre di discolizione, ma per lo più non la disturba. Come tutti noi quando invecchiamo, abbiamo giorni in cui sentiamo dolore nel corpo. A volte Minnie si sente rigida nella schiena o dolore nella parte bassa della schiena, ma ha visto un traumatologo e se dovesse averne bisogno durante alcuni periodi, le viene prescritto di prendere Gabapentina o Librela. Potrebbe vivere una vita normale, secondo la sua età, fuori dal rifugio - ama camminare in natura e dopo è contenta a dormire nel suo piccolo letto. La casa ideale per Minnie sarebbe senza bambini e preferibilmente senza cani, ma potrebbe funzionare con un cane maschio ben addestrato che dia a Minnie lo spazio e sia calmo - in questo caso la famiglia dovrebbe essere paziente e lavorare insieme a un addestratore nei primi periodi, così tutti saranno comodi e avranno tempo per imparare i propri limiti. Minnie sogna una casa che si trova in un quartiere tranquillo, in natura e nel caso di vicini e comunità, per la sua sicurezza, le persone nella comunità devono essere responsabili con i cani e non lasciare che i loro cani non controllati si avvicinino a Minnie. Finché tutti rispettano lo spazio privato di Minnie, tutti saranno felici! Minnie è molto addestrata a indossare una maschera e non protesta contro di essa. L'altezza alla spalla è circa 50 cm.

Seasons come and seasons go, only Minnie stays in her same plastic basket, looking out the metal door, to the other metal doors. Minnie's face is going from beautiful beige and bright weight, to grey, with every passing day... Minnie's is a member of our Oldie's Club, dogs over 10 years of age, who noone seems to want anymore. Minnie can be an insecure dog when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you even just a little bit, she is the most affectionate dog in her own special way. She will enjoy massage and scratches and snacks and encouraging words from her very own human, and she will also be respectful to strangers when her human is speaking to other people. At the same time, Minnie is looking for a human who will protect her from unwanted attention - strangers should not be bothering Minnie and randomly going to touch her, no, she doesn't like it - this older lady wants her peace. Minnie LOVES to lay in the pool and just look around what others are doing. She sits very well when she is offered a treat, and when she is happy, she runs around like a young deer - you would not believe that she is over 11 years old! She walks very nicely on the leash. Minnie, with her age, has discoespondilosis, but mostly it does not bother her. Like all of us when we get older, we have days where we have pain in our body. Sometimes Minnie feels stiff in her back, or pain in her lower back, but she has seen a traumatologist, and should she need during some periods, she is prescribed to take Gabapentina or Librela. She could live a normal life, according to her age, outside of the shelter - she loves to walk in the nature, and afterwards she is happy sleeping in her little bed. The perfect home for Minnie would be without children and preferably without dogs, but it might work with a well trained male dog that gives Minnie her space and is calm - in this case the family would need to be patient and work together with a trainer in the initial period, so everybody would be comfortable and have time to learn their private space boundaries. Minnie dreams of a home that is in a quiet neighborhood, in the nature and in case of neighbors and community, for her safety, the people in the community should also be dog responsible and not let their uncontrolled dogs approach Minnie. As long as everyone is respectful for Minnie's private space, then everyone is happy! Minnie is very well trained to wear a muzzle and does not protest against it. Her shoulder height is approximately 50cm.
