Nella è un incrocio di media taglia e ha circa 3 anni. Nella è stata trovata in un bosco in Romania da un veterinario quando era cucciola, insieme a suo fratello e sua sorella. Li ha portati nel suo paese e sperava che qualcuno li volesse, ma nessuno lo fece. Poi ricevette un'offerta di lavoro in Austria, che accettò. Nessuno dei suoi amici voleva aiutarla con i cuccioli, quindi alla fine chiese ai nostri colleghi del rescue cani in Norvegia uno spazio nel loro rifugio a Crivatu dove sono rimasti per più di un anno. Nella è ora in casa di un tutor in Inghilterra da diversi mesi per lavorare sulla sua timidezza, ma ora è pronta a trovare la sua perfetta casa per sempre. Nella è ancora una bambina timida e riservata, ma una volta che conosce qualcuno è dolce e affettuosa. Adora suo padre adottivo e ama molto avere la schiena e il sedere grattati. Avrà bisogno di una casa con un altro cane con cui può cercare conforto e fiducia mentre si abitua alla sua nuova vita. Vorrebbe un ambiente domestico tranquillo senza bambini sotto i dieci anni. Nella non può stare con i gatti. Nella è stata in stato di protezione vicino a Marlborough Wiltshire. Se sei interessato, invia un messaggio o chiama tra le 9:00 e le 17:00 da lunedì a venerdì oppure tra le 9:00 e le 16:00 sabato. Le tariffe di adozione dal 1° dicembre 2025 saranno: Cuccioli già sterilizzati e tutti i cani adulti: £430. Cuccioli non sterilizzati con contratti di sterilizzazione: £530 (riceverai un rimborso di £100 una volta che ci invierai la prova della sterilizzazione). Cani anziani (10+ anni): £150–£250 (in base all'età e alle esigenze individuali). Condizioni Generali di Adozione Quando adotti un cane di Safe Rescue, DEVI usare una guinzaglio a scatto. Questo terrà il tuo cane al sicuro: il tuo nuovo cane sarà nervoso e non ti darà fiducia, e non saprai quali situazioni potrebbero agitarlo. Se il tuo cane si spaventa, allora il guinzaglio a scatto è l'unica via per evitare che il cane scappi (molti cani possono scappare da collari e/o imbracature). Ci vorranno ALMENO 3-6 mesi per far sì che il tuo cane si stabilisca e per conoscerlo pienamente (più a lungo per i cani nervosi). Il guinzaglio a scatto deve essere sempre utilizzato durante questo periodo di stabilimento. Anche dopo che il tuo cane si è stabilito, è più sicuro utilizzare il guinzaglio a scatto in situazioni in cui il cane potrebbe spaventarsi (ad esempio visitare luoghi nuovi, intorno a persone sconosciute, dal veterinario), e in situazioni in cui potrebbero verificarsi trigger inaspettati (ad esempio durante la notte del fuoco d'artificio). I cani nervosi potrebbero sempre dover indossare un guinzaglio a scatto come misura di sicurezza aggiuntiva. Il guinzaglio a scatto è un dispositivo di sicurezza e mai deve essere utilizzato come strumento di addestramento. Applicare pressione sul collo del cane con il guinzaglio è dannoso. Se il tuo cane tira il guinzaglio, possiamo consigliarti metodi di addestramento che evitino danni. Una volta che il tuo cane si è stabilizzato, potresti voler considerare l'uso di una cintura (insieme al guinzaglio a scatto) se il cane è comodo con essere maneggiato quando è fissato. La maggior parte delle cinture non è anti-scappamento, ma cinture con una cingia dietro le costole (es. Ruffwear Webmaster o Perfect Fit Harness) sono più sicure. Nella is a medium sized crossbreed and is around 3 years old. Nella was found in a forest in Romania by a vet when she was a pup, along with her brother and sister. She took them to her village and hoped that someone would want them, but no one did. She then received an offer of a job in Austria, which she accepted. None of her friends would help her with the puppies, finally she asked our colleagues at dog rescue Norway for a space at their shelter in Crivatu where they stayed for over a year. Nella has now been in her UK foster home for several months working on her shyness but is now ready to find her perfect forever home. Nella is still a shy and reserved little girl but once she knows you she is sweet and affectionate. She adores her foster Dad, and likes nothing more than having her back and bum scratched. She will need a home with another dog that she can seek comfort and confidence from whilst she adjusts to her new life. She would like a quietish home environment with no children under the age of ten. Nella cannot be home with cats. Nella fostered near Marlborough Wiltshire. Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
