Sara è un incrocio di media taglia nata nel dicembre 2021. Sara è entrata nel nostro allevamento dalla Romania a un anno di età perché la sua custode lì si stava trasferendo nel Regno Unito e aveva paura per il suo futuro. Sara è una ragazza calma e sensibile che può essere un po' cauta con le persone nuove. Tuttavia si abitua rapidamente alla famiglia ed è una ragazza affettuosa e amichevole. Sara si intende bene con altri cani ma potrebbe vivere anche come cane unico. Avrebbe bisogno di una famiglia adulta poiché può avere ansia di fronte al comportamento giocoso. Sara può reagire agli altri cani durante le passeggiate, MA SOLO SE NON VIENE UTILIZZATO UNA CINGIA A OTTO IN CONGIUNZIONE CON LA SUA CINGIA LISCIANTE. Questa combinazione elimina ogni reattività e lei cammina molto bene. Sara ha bisogno di un ambiente tranquillo e silenzioso poiché può essere molto ansiosa in presenza di visitatori. È una ragazza molto amorevole e dolce con la sua famiglia ma ha trascorso tre anni nel nostro allevamento senza ricevere offerte per una casa. Sara ha fatto da babysitter a Norwich Norfolk. Se sei interessato, scrivi o chiama tra le 9:00 e le 17:00 dal lunedì al venerdì o tra le 9:00 e le 16:00 il sabato. Tariffe di adozione Dal 1° dicembre 2025 saranno: Cuccioli già sterilizzati e tutti i cani adulti: £430. Cuccioli non sterilizzati con contratti di sterilizzazione: £530 (riceverai un rimborso di £100 una volta che ci invierai la prova della sterilizzazione). Cani anziani (10+ anni): £150–£250 (in base all'età e alle esigenze individuali). Condizioni generali per l'adozione Quando adotti un cane di Safe Rescue, DEVI utilizzare una cingia lisceante. Questo terrà sicuro il tuo cane: il tuo nuovo cane sarà nervoso e non ti vorrà bene, e non saprai quali situazioni potrebbero agitarlo. Se il tuo cane ha paura, allora la cingia lisciante è l'unica via per evitare che scappi (molti cani riescono a scappare da collare e/o guinzaglio). Ci vorranno ALMENO 3-6 mesi per far abituare il cane e per conoscere pienamente il tuo cane (più a lungo per i cani timidi). La cingia lisciante deve essere SEMPRE utilizzata durante questo periodo di adattamento. Anche dopo che il cane si è abituato, è più sicuro utilizzare la cingia lisciante in situazioni dove il cane potrebbe spaventarsi (es. visitare luoghi nuovi, attorno a persone sconosciute, dal veterinario), e in situazioni in cui potrebbero verificarsi trigger imprevisti (es. durante la notte del fuoco d'artificio). I cani timidi potrebbero dover indossare sempre la cingia lisciante come misura di sicurezza aggiuntiva. La cingia lisciante è un dispositivo di sicurezza e mai deve essere utilizzato come strumento di allenamento. Applicare pressione sul collo del cane con la cingia è dannoso. Se il tuo cane tira la cingia, possiamo consigliarti metodi di allenamento che evitino danni. Sara is a medium sized crossbreed born December 2021. Sara has came into our care from Romania at a year old as her carer there was moving to the UK and she was worried for her future. Sara is a placid and sensitive girl who can be a little cautious of new people. She quickly warms up to family though and is an affectionate and friendly girl. Sara mixes well with other dogs but could also live as an only dog. She would need an adult family as she can be anxious around playful behaviour. Sara can be reactive to other dogs on walks but ONLY if a figure of eight lead is not used in addition to her slip lead. This combination eliminates all reactivity and she walks beautifully. Sara needs a calm and quiet home environment as she can be very anxious around visitors to the home. She is such a loving and sweet girl to her family but has spent three years in our care now with no offers of a home. Sara fostered Norwich Norfolk. Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
