Donny is een lieve jongen die hier al veel vooruitgang heeft geboekt en wij zijn zeker van mening dat het niet lang zal duren voordat hij in zijn eindige thuis bloeit met wat tijd en geduld! Het zou nuttig zijn als zijn nieuwe familie hem een paar keer hier op de centrale zou kunnen bezoeken voordat hij klaar is om naar huis te gaan. Donny is een knappe jongen die bij ons aankwam met erg weinig achtergrond, dus hij zoekt een geduldig en begripvol thuis dat hem zachtjes kan begeleiden door de wereld van het huishouden. Voedsel is Donnys liefde taal! Zijn eetlust zal een grote waarde zijn bij het leren van dingen zoals housetraining en helpen hem te leren om alleen te zijn. Hij is vol plezier en onzin en heeft veel liefde om te geven. Nieuwe ervaringen en mensen kunnen voor Donny een beetje angstaanjagend zijn, en hij moet een snuitertje dragen tijdens zijn wandelingen om hemzelf en iedereen om hem heen veilig te houden. Hij is al geïntroduceerd tot snuitertreining op een vriendelijke, beloning gebaseerde manier, en blijvende positieve versterking in het huis zal echt helpen om hem comfortabeler te maken. Donny vindt het ontmoeten van nieuwe mensen soms een angstige ervaring, maar met tijd en geduld maakt hij snel vrienden. Hij zoekt een thuis met alleen volwassenen en met minimale bezoekers. Ideaal zou het zijn dat hij een veilige ruimte in het huis heeft waar hij zich kan terugtrekken als hij zich overweldigd voelt. Donny is een echte sociale vlinder wanneer het gaat om het maken van hondjesvrienden. Hij helpt veel andere honden met hun sociale vaardigheden en helpt de zelfvertrouwen van onze nervouze bewoners op te bouwen. Met zijn sociaal karakter denken wij dat hij gelukkig kan delen zijn nieuwe huis met een andere hond. Met tijd, geduld en veel traktaties heeft Donny alle potentie om te bloeien tot een fantastische companion.

Donny is a sweet boy who has already made so much progress here with us and we're sure with some time and patience it wont take him long to blossom in his forever home! It would be beneficial if his new family could visit him a few times here at the centre before he's ready to go home. Donny is a handsome lad who came to us with very little background, so he’s looking for a patient and understanding home that can gently guide him through the world of home life. Food is Donny’s love language! His foodie nature will be a great asset when it comes to teaching him things like housetraining and helping him learn how to cope with time alone. He's full of fun and mischief and has so much love to give. New experiences and people can be a little daunting for Donny, and he will need to wear a muzzle when out and about on his walkies to help keep him and everyone around him safe. He’s been introduced to muzzle training in a kind, reward-based way, and continued positive reinforcement in the home will really help him feel more comfortable. Donny can find meeting new people a scary experience, but with time and patience he soon makes friends. He's looking for a home with adults only and with minimal visitors. Ideally he would like a safe space in the home where he can retreat to when he may be feeling overwhelmed. Donny is a real social butterfly when it comes to making doggy pals. He's been helping lots of other dogs with their social skills and helping boost the confidence of our nervous residents. With his social nature we think he could happily share his new home with another dog. With time, patience, and plenty of treats, Donny has all the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.
