Misty é um dos três filhotes que foram encontrados vivendo nos campos com sua mãe abandonada. A família foi regularmente visitada e alimentada por uma senhora que mora nas proximidades até que um lar fosse encontrado para a mãe. Nesse momento, os três filhotes vieram para Adoption Dogs Portugal. Com base no seu tamanho atual e no tamanho da sua mãe, ela será um cão pequeno de menos de 10 kg quando totalmente crescida. No início, os filhotes eram extremamente tímidos, com medo do contato humano e cheios de carrapatos e pulgas, mas desde então se desenvolveram com cuidado e atenção. O único menino da família, Monty, já foi adotado e fez uma transição muito bem-sucedida para a vida em família. Misty já foi tratada contra parasitas (internos/externos), microchipada e iniciou seu esquema de vacinação. Embora ela adore brincar com outros cães, incluindo sua irmã Marnie, ela ainda é bastante tímida com humanos, e por esse motivo estamos buscando um lar tranquilo para ela, com pessoas que a deixem se tornar mais confiante no seu próprio ritmo. Um cão mais velho e gentil no lar, que gosta de brincar, seria um benefício para ela. No entanto, Misty está definitivamente curiosa com pessoas que ela reconhece e agora aceita um petisco da mão de alguém em quem confia.

Misty is one of a litter of three puppies that were discovered living in the fields with their abandoned mother. The family was regularly visited and fed by a lady living locally until a home could be found for the mother. At that point, the three puppies came to Adoption Dogs Portugal. Based on her size now, and the size of her mother, she will remain a small dog of under 10kg once fully grown. At first, the puppies were extremely shy, scared of human contact and covered in ticks and fleas, but they have since thrived with care and attention. The only boy of the family, Monty, has already been adopted and has made a very successful transition to family life. Misty has now been treated for parasites (internal/external), microchipped and started her vaccination regime. While she loves playing with other dogs, including her sister Marnie, she remains quite shy with humans, and for that reason, we are seeking a quiet home for her, with people who will allow her to become more confident at her own pace. An older gentle dog in the Home, that likes to play would be a bonus for her. However, Misty is definitely curious about people who she recognises and will now take a treat from the hand of someone she trusts.
