Misty è uno dei tre cuccioli che sono stati trovati vivere nei campi con la loro madre abbandonata. La famiglia è stata regolarmente visitata e nutrita da una signora che vive localmente fino a quando non è stato trovato un posto per la madre. A quel punto, i tre cuccioli sono arrivati ad Adoption Dogs Portugal. Dopo la sua dimensione attuale e la dimensione della sua madre, rimarrà un cane di piccola taglia, sotto i 10 kg, una volta adulta. All'inizio, i cuccioli erano estremamente timidi, spaventati dal contatto umano e coperti di zecche e pulci, ma da allora hanno prosperato con cure e attenzioni. L'unico maschio della famiglia, Monty, è già stato adottato e ha fatto una transizione molto positiva alla vita in famiglia. Misty è ora stata trattata per parassiti (interni/esterni), microchippata e ha iniziato il suo piano di vaccinazione. Sebbene ami giocare con altri cani, inclusa sua sorella Marnie, rimane abbastanza timida con gli umani, e per questo motivo cerchiamo una casa tranquilla per lei, con persone che le permettano di diventare più sicura a suo ritmo. Un cane più anziano e dolce in casa, che ama giocare, sarebbe un vantaggio per lei. Tuttavia, Misty è certamente curiosa delle persone che riconosce e ora accetta un premio dalla mano di qualcuno che si fida.

Misty is one of a litter of three puppies that were discovered living in the fields with their abandoned mother. The family was regularly visited and fed by a lady living locally until a home could be found for the mother. At that point, the three puppies came to Adoption Dogs Portugal. Based on her size now, and the size of her mother, she will remain a small dog of under 10kg once fully grown. At first, the puppies were extremely shy, scared of human contact and covered in ticks and fleas, but they have since thrived with care and attention. The only boy of the family, Monty, has already been adopted and has made a very successful transition to family life. Misty has now been treated for parasites (internal/external), microchipped and started her vaccination regime. While she loves playing with other dogs, including her sister Marnie, she remains quite shy with humans, and for that reason, we are seeking a quiet home for her, with people who will allow her to become more confident at her own pace. An older gentle dog in the Home, that likes to play would be a bonus for her. However, Misty is definitely curious about people who she recognises and will now take a treat from the hand of someone she trusts.
