004/25 Filly

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

Nr.: 004/25 born: 2021 gender: F arrived at our shelter since: early 2025 to be rehomed from: October 2025 Filly is our house and farm cat. She came to us as a problem case from her owners because she attacked her owner after an incident. She also displayed this behavior while confined to a room, which is related to the incident. So, we decided to let Filly roam freely. After a few days, she had completely changed. She enjoys her freedom and the presence of people. Unfortunately, she doesn't receive the attention she needs here and wanders off to Radeberg and the surrounding areas. She sometimes rides in cars if she's not watched, goes to kindergartens and schools, to private homes, and is spoiled there. Therefore, we are looking for a home for Filly where she can move freely both inside and outside and be part of the family. We need people who are aware of Filly's history and can "read" cats. This cat needs outdoor access.

About 004/25 Filly

What life with 004/25 Filly looks like

004/25 Filly is a young adult mixed breed horse waiting at Tierschutzverein Radeberg in Radeberg.

Adopting a horse is a long-term commitment that almost always requires either land or a boarding stable. The shelter will discuss the horse's training level, vet history, and what kind of work or companionship they're suited for. Expect ongoing costs: feed, farrier, vet, and stabling.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

Paperwork, vet checks and transport rules differ by species and by country. Ask the shelter what is included and what you will need to arrange before you commit.

Frequently asked

Adopting 004/25 Filly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about 004/25 Filly?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Radeberg handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw 004/25 Filly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt 004/25 Filly if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a horse can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Tierschutzverein Radeberg what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is 004/25 Filly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a horse comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Tierschutzverein Radeberg directly what is included and what 004/25 Filly still needs.
What happens if 004/25 Filly isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Radeberg early rather than rehoming privately; they know 004/25 Filly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
