Regill

Male · Kitten · 3 months

Siblings Regill (253/26) and Lann (252/26) Lann and Regill arrived at the shelter on May 1st. Since then, their childhood has been spent in a place that’s simply not suitable for such young cats. Instead of exploring the world, playing, climbing, and relaxing in a safe home, they’ve been spending week after week behind bars. Young cat bodies are especially vulnerable to the viruses, bacteria, and fungi currently circulating in the shelter. Lann and Regill have developed ringworm, which is why they’re now staying in a hospital cage. They don’t have the chance to meet visitors or show just how charming, curious about the world, and eager for human contact these little kittens are every single day. Shelter conditions aren’t conducive to building immunity or recovering fully. Lann and Regill need a calm, clean environment, loving care, and plenty of space to play and develop properly. A home environment can greatly facilitate their treatment and help them regain their strength. We’re urgently looking for a safe home for these two white-and-tan boys—preferably a shared home so they can continue to stay together. Let’s not allow them to grow up in a hospital cage, invisible to the people who visit the shelter. Lann and Regill deserve a real kittenhood: one filled with play, closeness, and a sense of security. Adopting such little ones requires dedication and knowledge, so if you don’t have much experience with kittens, we encourage you to read our post-adoption cat guide, which contains all the essential information about raising a kitten. It will help you prepare better for welcoming this little furball into your home. Before adopting, we suggest you fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire and bring it with you to the shelter already completed. Please note: When deciding to adopt a cat or considering adoption, be sure to bring a carrier or transport bag for cats to the shelter. Before adopting, make sure your home or apartment is safe and properly prepared to welcome a new family member. Remember to secure windows and balconies.

Rodzeństwo Regill (253/26) i Lann (252/26) Lann i Regill trafili do schroniska 1 maja. Domowe warunki mogą znacznie ułatwić leczenie i pomóc im odzyskać siły. Pamiętaj, żeby zabezpieczyć okna i balkon.

About Regill

What life with Regill looks like

Regill is a small puppy/kitten cat waiting at Schronisko Na Paluchu in Warsaw.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Regill, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Regill?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Na Paluchu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Regill on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Regill if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Na Paluchu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Regill already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Regill isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Na Paluchu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Regill and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
