adoption requirements adoption process Now adopt this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now adopt this dog! The beautiful Malinois-Mix male dog Aaron is looking for loving and dog-experienced adopters who will rescue him from the Public Shelter in Baia Mare and offer him an appropriate home. Aaron is an active and lively male dog who is very friendly and open with people. He also gets along well with his fellow animals. If his active and strong male dogs in his new home meet him with dog understanding, consistency, and patience, he will surely develop well. In the overcrowded Public Shelter, confined to a small pen, Aaron is simply completely misplaced. Therefore, he needs to find a new home as soon as possible. An experienced foster home would also make Aaron's journey into a new and better dog life easier. Aaron, at about 5 years old and 58 cm shoulder height, is a medium-sized male dog in the best age for a new beginning. We don't know what happened to him in his previous life and whether he has already gathered many good experiences with people. And Aaron can't tell us anything about his past. But for him, only the future counts – and it should definitely be better, because the clever male dog hasn't lost his faith and hope. Aaron is an appealing and handsome dog with light brown fur and a black mask and pointed, triangular ears. This suggests that he is a Malinois-Mix. Belgian Shepherds are active, brave, and loyal companion dogs who like to closely bond with their people and seek a task. When Aaron settles into his new home, he might also develop these typical breed characteristics. His new people should be able to meet a willful dog affectionately and confidently, earn his trust patiently, and consistently train him. Therefore, we are looking for dog-experienced adopters for Aaron who are familiar with Belgian Shepherds and live in a rural area. Aaron's new people should be ready to give him plenty of time to settle in and consistently stay by his side. Working with a positively working dog training class would certainly benefit Maurice and strengthen his bond with his new people. Probably, the beautiful male dog has never lived in a house and doesn't know about house training or all the other rules for life in a family. A family with older children or an individual with a lot of time and experience in raising an demanding dog would be suitable for his adoption. Are you perhaps the right person for Aaron? Then contact us. After a positive assessment, he would also be very happy to go to a foster home. Our thanks go to the namesake Natalie P., who gave Aaron his name and thus his own identity. As of: 09.06. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen!

About Aaron

What life with Aaron looks like

Aaron is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Aaron, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Aaron?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Aaron on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Aaron if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Aaron already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Aaron isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Aaron and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
