Available for adoption: Abby, a friendly and social dog, found at a cement factory and taken to Elisa's shelter. She is ready for a single trip to the Netherlands and can join a future transport if a suitable place is found. Before departure, all necessary vaccinations will be up to date, and she will undergo a health check, receive a registered chip, and have a passport. Our foundation will arrange transportation from the shelter to the new home, using professional pet transport. We hope to find a suitable adopter or foster family for this young dog in the Netherlands. In Romania, dogs in shelters have little chance of being adopted, even the most loving and beautiful puppies. A life in a Romanian kennel is not a life, but survival. Fortunately, animal love 🐾 does not stop at a country border!

* voor een toelichting, lees Waarom wij voorzichtig zijn met het plaatsen van buitenlandse honden bij gezinnen met kleine kinderen alstublieft. Lieve Abby werd gevonden bij een cementfabriek en is daarna meegenomen naar het asiel van Elisa. Ze is een sociale en vriendelijke hond. Vanaf 5 oktober 2026 zullen er weer teamleden van ons op bezoek zijn in het asiel. Daar gaan zij natuurlijk ook tijd besteden met Abby om haar beter te leren kennen! Abby is klaar voor een enkele reis naar Nederland en kan, als we een goede plek hebben gevonden, mee met een volgend transport. Natuurlijk moeten voor vertrek alle benodigde inentingen in orde zijn. Daarnaast wordt haar gezondheid onderzocht en heeft zij voor vertrek een geregistreerde chip en een paspoort. Wanneer zich een goed passende adoptant of een gastgezin aandient voor haar, dan regelt onze stichting het vervoer vanaf het asiel, met professioneel huisdiertransport. Onze hondjes worden één voor één thuisgebracht bij het adres van hun opvang of hun blijvende thuis. We hopen dat we voor deze jonge hond snel een fijne plek in Nederland vinden! In Roemenië zelf zijn honden in het asiel kansloos, zelfs de liefste en mooiste pups maken geen kans om daar ooit geadopteerd te worden... En een leven opgesloten in een Roemeense asiel kennel is geen leven, maar overleven. Gelukkig hoeft dierenliefde 🐾 niet te stoppen bij een landsgrens!
