June 15, 2024 - We have worked tirelessly, full of enthusiasm! The effort was worth it. With about 30 hardworking helpers, we were able to tear down two outdated dog kennel systems today, set up heavy-duty shelves, perfect cat outdoor enclosures for the outdoor season, and much more. The women and men worked for the well-being of our animals in rain and sunshine. From the bottom of our hearts: THANK YOU! We can rely on our helpers! Again, an detachment of the Jusos Brandenburg and also of the Youth Forum Brandenburg were present. You know: after the workday comes before the workday! Demolition party at the animal shelter - Dear animal lovers, the main committee has decided to provide our animal shelter up to 80,000 euros to implement urgently needed construction measures for dog housing and comply with the latest legal requirements. With these funds, areas must be cleared, floors leveled, new surfaces installed, wall openings made, doors installed, as well as windows and radiators moved or renovated. At the same time, we must create temporary solutions to ensure that the animals are well accommodated during the construction phase. A bear project and a mammoth task, but we would not be us if we did not already have a concrete plan and for that we need YOUR help. Our clock is ticking, bureaucratic pressure is increasing and we still fear that the veterinary office will take our beloved animals from us. In short: we urgently need you for our workdays! On June 15 and 16, 2024 from 10 am to 5 pm, we therefore call all animal lovers to the "Demolition Party" at the animal shelter. Help us lay the foundation for our construction measures. In total, five systems must be demolished and the floors leveled. We are looking for tough girls and strong guys without fear of physical work, gladly with heavy equipment and gear. 15.06.2024 - Gerackert haben wir, stundenlang, voller Enthusiasmus! Der Einsatz hat sich gelohnt. Mit knapp 30 fleißigen Helferlein konnten wir heute zwei veraltete Hundezwingeranlagen abreißen, Schwerlastregale aufbauen, Katzen-Außengehege für die Outdoor Saison perfektionieren und einiges mehr. Die Frauen und Männer haben bei Regen und Sonnenschein für das Wohlergehen unserer Tiere gewerkelt. Wir sagen von Herzen: DANKE! Auf unsere Helferlein ist Verlass! Mit dabei wieder eine Abordnung der Jusos Brandenburg und auch des Jugendforums Brandenburg. Ihr wisst ja: nach dem Arbeitseinsatz ist vor dem Arbeitseinsatz! Abrissparty im Tierheim - Liebe Tierfreunde, der Hauptausschuss hat beschlossen, unserem Tierheim bis zu 80.000 € zur Verfügung zu stellen, um dringend notwendige bauliche Maßnahmen für die Hundeunterbringung umzusetzen und den neuesten gesetzlichen Anforderungen gerecht zu werden. Mit diesen Mitteln müssen Flächen beräumt, Böden ausgeglichen, neue Beläge gesetzt, Wanddurchbrüche gemacht, Türen eingesetzt sowie Fenster und Heizkörper versetzt bzw. umgebaut werden. Gleichzeitig müssen wir Übergangslösungen schaffen, um sicherzustellen, dass während der Bauphase gut untergebracht sind. Ein Bären-Projekt und eine Mammut-Aufgabe, doch wir wären nicht wir, wenn wir nicht bereits einen konkreten Plan hätten und dazu brauchen wir EURE Hilfe. Unsere Uhr tickt, der behördliche Druck nimmt zu und wir haben nach wie vor Angst, dass uns das Veterinäramt unsere geliebten Tiere fortnimmt. Kurzum: Wir brauchen euch dringend für unsere Arbeitseinsätze! Am 15. und 16. Juni 2024 von 10-17 Uhr rufen wir daher alle Tierfreunde zur „Abrissparty“ im Tierheim auf. Helft uns, die Grundlage für unsere Baumaßnahmen zu legen. Insgesamt müssen fünf Anlagen abgerissen und die Böden begradigt werden. Wir suchen taffe Mädels und starke Kerle ohne Scheu vor körperlicher Arbeit, gern mit schwerem Gerät und Rüstzeug. Kommt vorbei, packt mit an und zeigt, dass wir zusammenhalten, weil VOR der Wahl nicht NACH der Wahl ist. Wir brauchen EUCH JETZT! Für EUER leibliches Wohl wird natürlich gesorgt.
