As soon as someone approaches, he can't stay in his cage - he longs for closeness, petting, and a sense of security that he has lacked for years living on the street. ADAM is a carrier of feline leukemia virus (FeLV). This disease he contracted during difficult years of living alone. Although it sounds terrifying, FeLV is not a death sentence - proper care, prevention, and a healthy diet allow cats like ADAM to live long, happy, and in good health. Due to FeLV, ADAM must live alone or with another cat who is also a carrier of this disease. He needs a calm home where he can finally feel safety and love. Despite his sad past, ADAM shows every day how much he longs for human contact and how much joy his devotion can bring. This is a cat who needs care, patience, and a heart ready to fill his world with light and warmth.
