Introducing Hovis, a gentle soul who is hoping to find a loving forever home where he can put his paws up and enjoy the finer things in life. Hovis is a lovely, gentle boy who absolutely adores his people. He enjoys spending time with his humans, although he can be a little shy at first when meeting new people. What Hovis really longs for, though, is a sofa of his very own where he can relax and enjoy being part of the family. Like any good hound, Hovis loves to follow his nose! He really enjoys his sniffy walks and having the opportunity to explore the world around him. If something particularly interesting catches his scent, he can be strong on the lead, but he settles well once he gets into his walk and is a lovely companion to have out and about. A secure garden would be ideal for Hovis, giving him somewhere safe to mooch around, potter about and enjoy some time outdoors at home. Hovis could potentially live with another older, calm dog who would be happy to give him the space and time he needs to settle into his new home. Any canine companion would need to be a good match for his gentle nature, with introductions taking place at the centre. Hovis could live with children around 14 years who understand that he may need some time to settle and feel comfortable in his new surroundings. Above all, Hovis is looking for a family who will welcome his gentle nature, enjoy his houndy quirks and give him a comfy sofa to call his own.
