I am a real daredevil: curious, energetic and always looking for something new to discover. From my brother and sister, I am often the one who takes the initiative to play. Sometimes I also tease them a bit, but that's just part of being a big adventurer! I have a particularly short tail; the tip is missing. That's why I sometimes have a bit less balance and can be a bit of a clumsy during running and jumping. But I don't care about that at all! I run, jump, climb and play as if nothing is wrong. And that's what makes me so fun. Oh, and have you seen my whiskers? The white hairs around my nose make it look like I have a little mustache. Pretty chic, right? Eating is the way to win my heart. As soon as I realize that food is coming, you suddenly become my best friend. And if someone dares to keep my food away so that my brother or sister can eat quietly, I let you know with a very sad meow that I absolutely disagree with that. After a nice nap, it's time for my favorite moment: playing! I can have a great time with my brother and sister, but I also love it when you play with me. Feathers, balls, mice and fishing rods are all fun for me. As soon as it moves or makes a sound, I come right away. My absolute favorite is the tunnel. There I can race endlessly and play hide and seek. Although I'm a real daredevil, I still need to get to know people a bit better. Unexpected movements can scare me and I'm not being held at this moment. Petting is getting better when you sit down on the floor with me and let me choose. With some treats, it gets even easier! I myself know when I've had enough and then I withdraw quietly. With new people, my curiosity is more often stronger than my caution. After a day and a half, I came in to sniff cautiously and not much later I let myself be petted for the first time. So I'm making good progress and I especially need someone who gives me the time to build trust at my own pace. With other cats I can get along well. My brother Nash and sister Noxi are my fixed playmates and I can play wonderfully with both of them. A playful cat friend would therefore be very nice for me. Moving in with Nash or Noxi would be very cozy, but it's not a must. Because I can still be startled by unexpected movements and noises, I prefer to look for a home without small children. Older, quiet children who understand that I have my own pace, would probably fit me well. We don't know dogs yet. My ideal home? A place where I can play a lot! A house with enough space to run, climb and discover, fun toys and people who enjoy playing actively with me. Ik ben een echte durfal: nieuwsgierig, energiek en altijd op zoek naar iets nieuws om te ontdekken. Van mijn broertje en zusje ben ik vaak degene die het initiatief neemt om te spelen. Soms plaag ik ze ook een beetje, maar dat hoort er natuurlijk bij als grote avonturier! Ik heb een bijzonder kort staartje; het topje ontbreekt. Daardoor heb ik soms wat minder evenwicht en kan ik tijdens het rennen en springen een klein beetje een sulletje zijn. Maar daar trek ik me helemaal niets van aan! Ik ren, spring, klim en speel alsof er niets aan de hand is. En juist dat maakt mij zo leuk. Oh, en heb je mijn snorretje al gezien? Door de witte haartjes rond mijn neus lijkt het alsof ik een klein snorretje heb. Best chique, toch? Eten is trouwens dé manier om mijn hart te veroveren. Zodra ik doorheb dat er eten aankomt, ben je ineens mijn allerbeste vriend. En als iemand het waagt om mijn eten even uit mijn buurt te houden zodat mijn broertje of zusje rustig kan eten, laat ik met een heel zielig miauwtje weten dat ik het daar absoluut niet mee eens ben. Na een lekker dutje is het weer tijd voor mijn favoriete moment: spelen! Ik kan me uitstekend vermaken met mijn broertje en zusje, maar vind het ook geweldig als jij met me speelt. Veertjes, balletjes, muisjes en hengeltjes vind ik allemaal leuk. Als het beweegt of geluid maakt, kom ik meteen kijken. Mijn absolute favoriet is de tunnel. Daar kan ik eindeloos doorheen racen en verstoppertje spelen. Hoewel ik een echte durfal ben, moet ik mensen nog wel wat beter leren kennen. Onverwachte bewegingen kunnen me laten schrikken en ik word op dit moment nog niet graag vastgehouden. Aaien gaat steeds beter wanneer je rustig bij me op de grond komt zitten en mij de keuze laat maken. Met wat lekkers erbij wordt het nóg makkelijker! Ik geef zelf goed aan wanneer ik genoeg heb gehad en trek me dan rustig terug. Bij nieuwe mensen is mijn nieuwsgierigheid steeds vaker sterker dan mijn voorzichtigheid. Al na anderhalve dag kwam ik voorzichtig snuffelen en niet veel later liet ik me voor het eerst aaien. Ik maak dus mooie stapjes en heb vooral iemand nodig die mij de tijd geeft om in mijn eigen tempo vertrouwen op te bouwen. Met andere katten kan ik goed overweg. Mijn broertje Nash en zusje Noxi zijn mijn vaste speelmaatjes en met allebei kan ik heerlijk ravotten. Een speels kattenmaatje zou daarom ontzettend leuk voor mij zijn. Samen met Nash of Noxi verhuizen zou natuurlijk helemaal gezellig zijn, maar het is geen must. Omdat ik nog kan schrikken van onverwachte bewegingen en geluiden, zoek ik liever een thuis zonder kleine kinderen. Oudere, rustige kinderen die begrijpen dat ik mijn eigen tempo heb, zouden waarschijnlijk wel bij mij passen. Honden kennen we nog niet. Mijn ideale thuis? Een plek waar ik lekker kan apenkooien! Een huis met genoeg ruimte om te rennen, klimmen en ontdekken, leuke speeltjes en mensen die het gezellig vinden om actief met mij te spelen.
