Dakota is a beautiful 11-week-old girl with a distinctive stripe on her forehead. She is playful, curious, and elegant, but she hasn't always been as confident as she is now. Her life didn't start off easy. She found people very exciting and wasn't sure if she could trust them. Fortunately, she ended up in a loving foster home that gave her all the time, attention, and patience she needed. That's how she discovered how nice people can be. Now she enjoys attention, cuddles, and coziness, although she still likes it when new people give her some time to get to know them at her own pace. My advice to my future family is simple: give me some space and let me come to you. As soon as I realize I can trust you, it will happen quickly. Then you'll have a lifelong friend by your side. I build strong bonds with people I trust and love to show how much I care about them. I also love to play. I don't really care what toy you bring out, because I like everything. I like to play with other kittens, chase toys, and climb enthusiastically wherever I can get to. After all, there's so much to discover in the world. Something else you should know about me: I like to chat. If I want attention, I make it clear. Then I meow a little to tell you that it's time for a cuddle, a game, or just some personal attention. And to be honest, it usually works pretty well. Although I had a tough start, I've grown into a very sweet and cheerful girl who gains more and more confidence every day. In the right environment, I can really flourish. Give me some time to settle in, and you'll get a great cat in return. My relocation wishes are a loving home where I can land quietly. A family with children or other pets is fine, as long as I get the chance to build trust at my own pace. Hoi, ik ben Dakota.Ik ben een prachtig meisje van 11 weken oud met een bijzonder streepje op mijn voorhoofd. Ik ben speels, nieuwsgierig en elegant, maar ik ben niet altijd zo zelfverzekerd geweest als ik nu ben.Mijn leven begon namelijk niet zo gemakkelijk. Mensen vond ik heel spannend en ik wist niet goed of ik ze wel kon vertrouwen. Gelukkig kwam ik terecht bij een liefdevol pleeggezin dat mij alle tijd, aandacht en geduld heeft gegeven die ik nodig had. Daardoor heb ik ontdekt hoe fijn mensen kunnen zijn. Inmiddels geniet ik van aandacht, knuffels en gezelligheid, al vind ik het nog steeds prettig als nieuwe mensen mij even de tijd geven om kennis te maken op mijn eigen tempo. Mijn advies aan mijn toekomstige familie is daarom simpel: geef mij een beetje ruimte en laat mij zelf naar je toe komen. Zodra ik merk dat ik je kan vertrouwen, gaat het snel. Dan heb je er een vriendin voor het leven bij. Ik bouw sterke banden op met de mensen die ik vertrouw en laat graag zien hoeveel ik om ze geef.Verder ben ik dol op spelen. Eigenlijk maakt het mij niet zo veel uit welk speeltje je tevoorschijn haalt, want ik vind alles leuk. Ik speel graag met andere kittens, jaag achter speelgoed aan en klim enthousiast overal op waar ik kan komen. Er valt tenslotte zoveel te ontdekken in de wereld. Nog iets wat je over mij moet weten: ik klets graag. Als ik aandacht wil, laat ik dat duidelijk horen. Dan miauw ik even om te vertellen dat het tijd is voor een knuffel, een spelletje of gewoon wat persoonlijke aandacht. En eerlijk is eerlijk, meestal werkt dat best goed. Hoewel ik een zware start heb gehad, ben ik uitgegroeid tot een bijzonder lief en vrolijk meisje dat iedere dag meer vertrouwen krijgt. In de juiste omgeving kan ik echt helemaal opbloeien.
