I am a sweet girl who finds people a bit scary right now. So I like to take a moment to observe from a safe distance and if you just walk up to me, I can quickly find a safe spot. But luckily I have a weakness... treats! 😻 Love really goes through my stomach for me. With something tasty nearby, I sometimes just forget that I find people scary. Then I come over to you and discover that attention and cuddles aren't so bad after all. You can also use a fun game to persuade me to come closer. And once I'm busy with my treat, I can really enjoy it. I'll grab your finger with my front paws to lick off all the yummy bits. You have to make sure there's nothing left, of course! 😋 With people I know well, I dare more and more. If something tasty or a fun toy comes out, I'll come to you. Then I let myself be petted and even picked up. But walking up to me just yet is still scary and I prefer to choose when I come closer. I'm cautious with new people. I'm curious, but I don't want to be hugged right away. With patience and calmness, I will gain more trust. So it's important that you don't expect me to lie on your lap within a few days. I simply need more time to relax. With other cats, I can get along very well. I love the young tomcat from my foster family and he loves me too. A playful cat friend in my new home would therefore be a real plus. With the adult cats, it goes well, although I seek less contact with them. With dogs, I have no experience yet. With children, I can probably get along well, as long as they understand my boundaries. With the five-year-old son of my foster family, it went fine. I like playing and giving treats; cuddling comes later. I want to be able to decide when I come closer and I especially need peace to thaw at my own pace. My ideal home is a quiet place, together with Ninja or another young, playful cat. The most important thing is a master who has patience with me and gives me the time to get to know my new environment and my people. Ik ben een lief meisje dat mensen op dit moment nog een beetje spannend vindt. Ik kijk daarom graag eerst even rustig de kat uit de boom en als je zomaar op mij af komt lopen, kan ik nog snel een veilig plekje opzoeken. Maar gelukkig heb ik een zwakke plek… snoepjes! 😉 Liefde gaat bij mij namelijk echt een beetje door de maag. Met iets lekkers in de buurt vergeet ik soms gewoon even dat ik mensen spannend vind. Dan kom ik gezellig bij je kijken en ontdek ik dat aandacht en knuffels eigenlijk helemaal niet zo verkeerd zijn. Ook met een leuk spelletje kun je mij goed overhalen om dichterbij te komen. En als ik eenmaal lekker bezig ben met mijn snoepje, kan ik er echt van genieten. Ik pak je vinger met mijn voorpootjes vast om alle lekkere restjes eraf te likken. Je moet natuurlijk wel zeker weten dat er niets lekkers meer overblijft! 😋 Bij mensen die ik goed ken, durf ik steeds meer. Als er iets lekkers of een leuk speeltje tevoorschijn komt, kom ik graag naar je toe. Dan laat ik me ook goed aaien en zelfs oppakken. Maar zomaar naar mij toe lopen vind ik nog spannend en dan kies ik liever zelf wanneer ik dichterbij kom. Nieuwe mensen bekijk ik voorzichtig. Ik ben nieuwsgierig, maar wil niet meteen aangehaald worden. Met rust en geduld zal ik steeds meer vertrouwen krijgen. Het is dus belangrijk dat je niet verwacht dat ik binnen een paar dagen al op schoot kom liggen. Ik heb simpelweg wat meer tijd nodig om helemaal te ontspannen. Met andere katten kan ik het gelukkig uitstekend vinden. Ik ben dol op de jonge kater van mijn gastgezin en hij is ook helemaal weg van mij. Een speels kattenmaatje in mijn nieuwe thuis zou daarom echt een pluspunt zijn. Met de volwassen katten gaat het ook goed, al zoek ik daar wat minder contact mee. Met honden heb ik nog geen ervaring. Met kinderen kan ik waarschijnlijk goed overweg, zolang zij mijn grenzen begrijpen. Met het vijfjarige zoontje van mijn gastgezin ging het prima. Samen spelen en snoepjes geven vind ik leuk; uitgebreid knuffelen komt later wel. Ik wil graag zelf kunnen bepalen wanneer ik dichterbij kom en heb vooral rust nodig om op mijn eigen tempo te ontdooien. Mijn ideale thuis is een rustige plek, samen met Ninja of een andere jonge, speelse kat. Het allerbelangrijkste is een baasje dat geduld met mij heeft en mij de tijd geeft om mijn nieuwe omgeving en mijn mensen te leren kennen.
