Ninja is a sweet and gentle girl with a soft personality. She finds people a bit scary, but in a familiar place, she can relax and show her true character: a cuddly girl who enjoys attention. She especially loves it when you scratch her behind - she spins around your hand to find the best spots and gives lots of kisses. In a safe environment, she knows how nice cuddling can be. But in a big, unfamiliar space, she gets a bit nervous. She might duck when you walk by or approach her. Don't worry, just sit down, put a treat down, or play with a toy, and she'll come out of her shell. She's not really scared, just cautious. She wants to discover who you are and when it feels safe to get closer. Even with people she knows, she's a bit shy. With a treat or a fun game, she'll come to you and let you pet her. She's okay with being picked up if she trusts you. But if you approach her suddenly, she'll probably step back. She loves other cats, especially the young male in her foster family. He's also crazy about her. A playful cat friend would be great. She gets along with adult cats, but doesn't seek much contact with them. She hasn't met dogs yet. With the five-year-old son of her foster family, she played well as long as he respected her boundaries. She likes playing and getting treats, but not being chased or forced to cuddle. She wants a home with peace and quiet, where she can build trust. She'd love to be with Uma, they'd be a great match. With her by her side, she'll feel safe to explore. She won't be the biggest cuddler right away. Give her time, and she'll show you what's behind her shy side. Hoi, ik ben Ninja! 🐾 Mijn naam klinkt misschien een beetje stoer, maar eigenlijk ben ik vooral een lief meisje met een zacht karakter. Ik vind mensen alleen nog een beetje spannend. Op een plek die ik goed ken, kan ik namelijk helemaal ontspannen en dan komt mijn echte karakter tevoorschijn: een heerlijk knuffelig meisje dat volop geniet van aandacht. Vooral als je mij lekker over mijn stuit krabt, ben ik helemaal in mijn element. Dan draai ik luid spinnend rond je hand om precies de goede plekjes aan te wijzen. En alsof dat nog niet duidelijk genoeg is, geef ik er ondertussen ook nog een heleboel kopjes bij. 🥰 In een vertrouwde omgeving weet ik dus heel goed hoe fijn knuffelen kan zijn. Maar in een grote, onbekende ruimte wordt het allemaal wat spannender. Dan kan ik even wegduiken als je langsloopt of zomaar op mij af komt. Gelukkig hoef je dan niet lang te wachten: ga rustig op de grond zitten, leg een lekker snoepje neer of speel met een leuk speeltje en mijn nieuwsgierigheid wint het vaak alweer. Voor je het weet kom ik weer voorzichtig tevoorschijn. Nieuwe mensen bekijk ik dan ook eerst vanaf een veilige afstand. Ik ben niet echt angstig, maar gewoon voorzichtig. Ik wil graag zelf ontdekken wie je bent en wanneer het veilig voelt om dichterbij te komen. Ook bij mensen die ik goed ken, ben ik nog wat terughoudend. Met iets lekkers of een leuk spelletje kom ik graag naar je toe en dan kan ik me heerlijk laten aaien. Oppakken lukt ook prima als ik je vertrouw. Maar als je mij zomaar wilt benaderen, kies ik er voorlopig liever voor om een paar stapjes bij je vandaan te lopen. Met andere katten ben ik juist helemaal in mijn element. Ik ben dol op de jonge kater van mijn gastgezin en die is ook gek op mij. Een speels kattenmaatje zou daarom ontzettend fijn zijn. Met de volwassen katten gaat het ook goed, al zoek ik daar wat minder contact mee. Met honden heb ik nog geen ervaring. Met kinderen ging het goed met het vijfjarige zoontje van mijn gastgezin, zolang hij mijn grenzen respecteerde. Samen spelen en snoepjes geven vind ik leuk; achtervolgd worden of gedwongen worden om te knuffelen natuurlijk niet. 😉 Mijn ideale thuis is rustig en geeft mij vooral tijd en ruimte om vertrouwen op te bouwen. Een thuis samen met Uma zou helemaal geweldig zijn, want wij zijn een supermatch. Met haar aan mijn zijde kan ik rustig ontdekken dat mijn nieuwe omgeving veilig is. Ik hoef niet meteen de grootste knuffelkont van het huis te zijn. Geef mij de tijd en ik laat je vanzelf zien wat er achter mijn voorzichtige kant schuilt.
