Sting! 🐾 I am a sweet red kitten with beautiful, shiny eyes that look at the world with curiosity. I am still small and have a lot to learn, but I am eager to take on all the challenges that come with growing up. I learn everything: eating on my own, using the litter box, grooming myself, and of course, finding the best sleeping spots. But one thing I am already very good at is purring! My engine loves to run and I get very happy from cuddles, soft strokes, and sweet words. Because I am still so small, I sleep a lot during the day. But as soon as I wake up, my next adventure begins. I love to explore. I practice climbing, try to keep my balance better and of course, I love to run after my sisters. Playing and wrestling together is so much fun! I don't need much explanation about toys. I think everything is interesting, but a string and a mouse are my favorites. Give me something to run after and I am in my element. After all that playing and exploring, I know exactly what to do: I need to be on someone's lap! That is my favorite place to relax completely. If you gently stroke my forehead, it may happen that I slowly close my eyes and fall asleep. Sometimes I wake up during my nap and let out a very small, content meow. 🥰 I am very social and approach new people with confidence. I give people I know a big 10 out of 10 for friendliness. I really enjoy attention and I like to have people around me. I have no experience with dogs and adult cats, but I think I would be able to get along with them. I can get along with young and older children. I don't need special care. I am still learning to become completely independent. I am now switching to solid food and I still need to learn to drink a little. That's why it would be nice if my new owners could spend some extra time and attention on me in the first weeks. Because I really like company and attention, I would also like it if my people were at home regularly. And maybe I don't have to move alone at all! Hoi, ik ben Sting! 🐾 Ik ben een lief rood katertje met prachtige, glanzende oogjes waarmee ik vol nieuwsgierigheid de wereld in kijk. Ik ben nog klein en moet nog van alles leren, maar ik ga alle uitdagingen die bij het opgroeien horen vol enthousiasme aan. Zelf eten, de kattenbak gebruiken, mezelf wassen en natuurlijk ontdekken waar de fijnste slaapplekjes zijn… ik leer het allemaal! En één ding kan ik al ontzettend goed: spinnen! Mijn motortje draait graag en ik word dan ook heel gelukkig van knuffels, zachte aaitjes en lieve woordjes. Omdat ik nog zo klein ben, slaap ik een groot gedeelte van de dag. Maar zodra ik wakker ben, begint mijn volgende avontuur. Dan ga ik graag op onderzoek uit. Ik oefen met klimmen, probeer mijn evenwicht steeds beter te bewaren en ren natuurlijk ook graag achter mijn zusjes aan. Samen spelen en stoeien is namelijk hartstikke leuk! Met speelgoed hoef je mij niet veel uit te leggen. Ik vind eigenlijk alles interessant, maar een touwtje en een muisje zijn toch wel favoriet. Geef mij iets om achteraan te rennen en ik ben helemaal in mijn element. Na al dat spelen en ontdekken weet ik precies wat er moet gebeuren: op schoot! Dat is namelijk mijn favoriete plek om weer helemaal tot rust te komen. Als je dan zachtjes over mijn voorhoofd aait, kan het zomaar gebeuren dat ik langzaam mijn oogjes dichtdoe en in slaap val. Soms word ik tijdens mijn dutje even wakker en laat ik een heel klein, tevreden miauwtje horen. 🥰 Ik ben ontzettend sociaal en stap met vertrouwen op nieuwe mensen af. Bij mensen die ik ken geef ik mezelf met gemak een dikke 10 op 10 voor gezelligheid. Ik geniet echt van aandacht en vind het fijn om mensen om mij heen te hebben. Met honden en volwassen katten heb ik nog geen ervaring, maar waarschijnlijk zou ik daar prima mee om kunnen gaan. Met jonge én oudere kinderen kan ik goed omgaan. Ik heb geen speciale verzorging nodig. Wel ben ik nog volop aan het leren om helemaal zelfstandig te worden. Ik schakel nu over op vast voedsel en moet nog een beetje leren drinken. Daarom is het fijn als mijn nieuwe baasjes de eerste weken wat extra tijd en aandacht voor mij hebben.
