Skittles! 🐾 I'm a beautiful black kitten with a few striking white whiskers. My face looks extra special because of that! I'm a sweet and calm boy, but I need to get to know you first. I find new people, sounds, and situations exciting right now. If I don't trust something, I might run away or take some distance. Give me that peace and space and you'll see that I'm getting bolder. I've been with my foster family for two weeks now and I've made some great progress! At first, I slept a bit further away, but now I sleep and play right near them. And when you get to know me, I let you pet me more and more. My engine starts running and you can really see that I enjoy it. ❤️ My brothers and sisters help me discover new things. I like to play with them and I really enjoy balls, a play tunnel, and feathers. I also have a special connection with my brother Twix. We're the only male kittens in the litter and we often seek each other out. We especially like to sleep together. 🥰 A quiet household is the best fit for me. Small children and a busy household with lots of loud or new noises would probably be too much for me. I can get along with older children, especially if they understand that I need to get used to things slowly. A dog seems too exciting for me right now. I would probably find an adult cat exciting too, unless it's a very gentle cat. I'd prefer to move in with one of my brothers or sisters, for example with my buddy Twix, Oreo, or TumTum. Hoi, ik ben Skittles! 🐾 Ik ben een mooi zwart katertje met een paar opvallende witte snorharen. Mijn snoetje ziet er daardoor extra bijzonder uit! Ik ben een lief en rustig mannetje, maar ik moet je eerst wel even leren kennen. Nieuwe mensen, geluiden en situaties vind ik op dit moment nog spannend. Als ik iets niet vertrouw, kan ik nog even wegvluchten of wat meer afstand nemen. Geef mij die rust en ruimte en je zult zien dat ik steeds meer durf. Ik ben nu twee weken bij mijn gastgezin en wat heb ik al mooie stappen gezet! In het begin lag ik wat verder weg te slapen, maar inmiddels slaap en speel ik gewoon gezellig in de buurt. En als ik je eenmaal ken, laat ik mij steeds vaker heerlijk aaien. Mijn motortje gaat dan lekker aan en je kunt echt zien dat ik daarvan geniet. ❤️ Mijn broers en zusjes helpen mij om nieuwe dingen te ontdekken. Ik speel graag met hen en vind balletjes, een speeltunnel en veertjes erg leuk. Met mijn broer Twix heb ik bovendien een bijzondere klik. Wij zijn de enige katertjes uit het nest en zoeken elkaar regelmatig op. Vooral samen slapen doen we graag. 🥰 Een rustig huishouden past daarom het beste bij mij. Kleine kinderen en een druk huis met veel harde of nieuwe geluiden zouden waarschijnlijk te veel voor mij zijn. Met oudere kinderen kan ik prima omgaan, zeker als zij begrijpen dat ik eerst rustig moet wennen. Een hond lijkt mij op dit moment te spannend. Ook een volwassen kat zou ik waarschijnlijk spannend vinden, tenzij het een heel zachtaardige kat is. Ik zoek het liefst een thuis waar ik niet meteen van alles hoef. Geef mij de tijd om mijn nieuwe omgeving te ontdekken, laat mij zelf het contact opzoeken en heb geduld met mij. Als ik je eenmaal vertrouw, komt mijn lieve en aanhankelijke kant steeds meer tevoorschijn. Het liefst verhuis ik samen met één van mijn broers of zusjes, bijvoorbeeld met mijn maatje Twix, Oreo of TumTum. Een sociaal kitten waar ik mij aan kan optrekken zou mij in ieder geval enorm helpen.
