TumTum! 🐾 I may not be the first kitten to jump onto a stranger's lap, but give me some time to get to know you and you'll soon discover my real personality. Once I'm comfortable with you, I'm a real lap cat! I love coming to you for attention, letting you pet me, and snuggling up on your lap. ❤️ I've been in my foster home for about two weeks now and have already shown how sweet and social I am. I was even the first of my litter to let people pet me and come to them on my own. Now I can be picked up and cuddled, and I love lying next to you. Even when you're working, I love keeping you company. I'm not just a people lover, I also love playing with my brothers and sisters. We run around the house together, and I love playing with balls, feathers, and a tunnel. After all that playing, it's so nice to take a nap together. What makes me extra special is that I also help my shy littermates. Some of them are more timid than I am. I'll snuggle up next to them and show them that people aren't scary at all. If I let you pet me, they sometimes feel more comfortable too. I'm not just a sweet girl, I also help my shy friends overcome their fears. 🥰 I'm a bit nervous around new people at first. I might run away, but if you stay calm and give me time, I'll eventually come over to check you out. My foster family noticed that I quickly gained their trust, and I expect the same from my new family, as long as I'm approached calmly. That's why a quiet home with older children would be perfect for me. I live with kids aged 15 and 17 now, and that works well. I haven't had experience with dogs yet, and I might find them a bit scary at first. I haven't had experience with adult cats either, but with a gentle introduction, my foster family thinks I could get used to them. I'd love to move in with one of my brothers or sisters: Oreo, Twix, Skittles, or Dropje. But I'd also love to be with another social cat buddy. I could be a great support for a more timid kitten. 🐾 My ideal home is a quiet place where I can get used to you and then be myself: a playful, affectionate lap cat. Hoi, ik ben TumTum! 🐾 Ik ben misschien niet meteen het eerste kitten dat bij een vreemde op schoot springt, maar geef mij even de tijd om je te leren kennen en je ontdekt al snel mijn echte karakter. Want als ik eenmaal aan je gewend ben, ben ik een echte schootpoes! Ik kom graag zelf naar je toe voor aandacht, laat me heerlijk aaien en kruip het liefst gezellig bij je op schoot. ❤️ Ik ben nu ongeveer twee weken in mijn gastgezin en hier heb ik al snel laten zien hoe lief en sociaal ik ben. Ik was zelfs de eerste van mijn nestje die zich liet aaien en uit zichzelf naar de mensen toe kwam. Inmiddels kan ik lekker opgepakt en geknuffeld worden en kom ik graag naast je liggen. Zelfs als je aan het werk bent, houd ik je graag gezelschap. Ik ben niet alleen dol op mensen, maar vind het ook ontzettend leuk om met mijn broers en zusjes te spelen. We rennen samen door het huis en ik speel graag met balletjes, veertjes en een speeltunnel. Na al dat spelen is het natuurlijk heerlijk om samen een dutje te doen. Wat mij misschien wel extra bijzonder maakt, is dat ik ook een beetje een voorbeeldfunctie heb binnen mijn nestje. Sommige van mijn broers en zusjes zijn wat banger dan ik. Ik ga dan gezellig bij hen liggen en laat zien dat mensen helemaal niet zo eng zijn. Als ik me laat aaien, durven zij soms ook wat meer. Ik ben dus niet alleen een gezellig meisje, maar help mijn verlegen vriendjes ook een beetje over hun angst heen. 🥰 Bij nieuwe mensen vind ik het in eerste instantie nog spannend. Ik kan dan wegvluchten, maar als je rustig blijft en mij de tijd geeft, kom ik uiteindelijk nieuwsgierig kijken. Mijn gastgezin merkte dat ik vrij snel mijn vertrouwen gaf en verwacht dat ik dit bij mijn nieuwe familie ook zal doen, zolang ik rustig benaderd word. Daarom past een rustig thuis met oudere kinderen goed bij mij. Ik woon nu samen met kinderen van 15 en 17 jaar en dat gaat goed. Met honden heb ik nog geen ervaring en die vind ik op dit moment waarschijnlijk nog wat spannend. Met volwassen katten heb ik ook nog geen ervaring, maar met een rustige introductie verwacht mijn gastgezin dat ik hieraan zou kunnen wennen. Het liefst verhuis ik samen met één van mijn broers of zusjes: Oreo, Twix, Skittles of Dropje. Maar ook met een ander sociaal kattenmaatje zou ik het vast gezellig vinden. Ik kan bovendien juist een heel goede steun zijn voor een wat voorzichtiger kitten. 🐾 Mijn ideale thuis is een rustige plek waar ik rustig mag wennen en daarna volop mezelf kan zijn: een gezellige, speelse en vooral aanhankelijke schootpoes.
