When I arrived at the animal shelter, my world turned upside down. Not long after, I gave birth to a beautiful nest of kittens. With much love, I cared for my little ones and raised them. Now they are ready to go their own way, and it's time for me to finally be pampered. The past few months haven't always been easy. I suffered from painful mammary glands and received treatment for that. Thankfully, that is all behind me now. I feel good, am healthy, and am ready to look for my own spot. Adapting to the animal shelter has been quite a challenge. Every day, different people entering my space can be quite exciting. I might miss my kittens a little sometimes. I am quite curious, though. Often, I come to you to sniff and get to know you. I like to keep an eye on you. I still don't sit on your lap yet, as I'm not quite there yet. And sometimes, I have a little accident. Not because I'm being naughty, but because I want to make it clear that I need time to understand things and build trust. That's why I'm looking for a quiet home without small children, with people who understand that not every cat is immediately cuddly. Give me some space, patience, and love, and I can grow step by step into the beautiful cat I am inside. I would also love to be able to enjoy the outdoors safely. A fenced garden or a well-secured balcony where I can look, smell, and relax in the sun would truly be a dream come true for me. Toen ik in het asiel kwam, stond mijn wereld op zijn kop. Niet lang daarna ben ik bevallen van een prachtig nest kittens. Met veel liefde heb ik voor mijn kleintjes gezorgd en ze grootgebracht. Nu zijn zij klaar om hun eigen weg te gaan, en is het tijd dat ik eindelijk eens zelf in de watten gelegd word. De afgelopen tijd is niet altijd makkelijk geweest. Ik heb last gehad van pijnlijke melkklieren en daarvoor heb ik een behandeling gekregen. Gelukkig is dat nu helemaal verholpen. Ik voel me goed, ben gezond en klaar om op zoek te gaan naar mijn eigen plekje. In het asiel moet ik nog erg wennen. Elke dag andere mensen die mijn ruimte binnenkomen vind ik best spannend. Misschien mis ik mijn kittens soms ook nog een beetje. Ik ben wel nieuwsgierig hoor. Vaak kom ik naar je toe om even aan je te ruiken en kennis te maken. Ik houd graag een oogje op je. Op schoot zitten doe ik nog niet, daar ben ik nog niet aan toe. En soms blaas ik een beetje. Niet omdat ik onaardig ben, maar omdat ik graag duidelijk maak dat ik tijd nodig heb om dingen te begrijpen en vertrouwen op te bouwen. Daarom zoek ik een rustig thuis zonder kleine kinderen, bij mensen die begrijpen dat niet iedere poes meteen een knuffelkat is. Geef mij wat ruimte, geduld en liefde, dan kan ik stap voor stap uitgroeien tot de prachtige poes die ik in me heb. Ik zou het ook heel fijn vinden als ik veilig van de buitenlucht kan genieten. Een afgesloten tuin of een goed beveiligd balkon waar ik kan kijken, ruiken en ontspannen in het zonnetje zou voor mij echt een droom zijn.
