The Shire is a quiet, green village where hobbits live. A safe place where you feel at home. And that is precisely where I am looking for. My story began unfortunately not so beautifully. I was found in a carrier, left behind without anyone knowing why. Fortunately, I ended up at the animal shelter, where good care is provided for me. But an animal shelter is naturally not the same as a real home. I am a loving and affectionate cat. When meeting new people, I first take a look at the cat out of the tree. When I feel safe and comfortable, I gradually reveal more of myself. Then I like to snuggle up on your lap for a cuddle. Just enjoying some attention and company. I also prefer to eat with someone nearby. It gives me a nice feeling when there is someone nearby while I enjoy my meal. A little company makes everything a bit more cozy. What I am looking for? Not a big adventure, but just a quiet place where I can be myself. A home where I have the time to adjust, where soft hands are ready for petting, and where I can finally stay. Mijn naam is Shire. Ik ben een jonge poes van 2 jaar oud met een mooie zwart-witte vacht. Misschien ken je mijn naam wel uit The Lord of the Rings. De Shire is een rustig, groen dorpje waar de hobbits wonen. Een veilige plek waar je je thuis voelt. En dat is precies waar ik ook naar op zoek ben. Mijn verhaal begon helaas niet zo mooi. Ik ben gevonden in een carrier, achtergelaten zonder dat iemand wist waarom. Gelukkig ben ik daarna in het asiel terechtgekomen, waar goed voor mij wordt gezorgd. Maar een asiel is natuurlijk niet hetzelfde als een echt thuis. Ik ben een lieve en aanhankelijke poes. Bij nieuwe mensen kijk ik eerst even de kat uit de boom. Als ik me veilig en op mijn gemak voel, laat ik steeds meer van mezelf zien. Dan kom ik graag gezellig bij je op schoot zitten voor een knuffelmoment. Gewoon samen genieten van wat aandacht en gezelschap. Ook eten doe ik het liefst niet alleen. Het geeft me een fijn gevoel als er iemand in de buurt is terwijl ik van mijn maaltijd geniet.
