I am a beautiful black and white tuxedo cat. I was found during a TNR (trap-neuter-return) operation. Initially, it seemed like I was a cat living outside, but it soon turned out that I wasn't wild at all. I am cautious, but I allow people to approach me and clearly enjoy attention. This is probably why I have had a home in the past. I find new situations a bit exciting and I like to observe things from a safe distance first. I need time to get used to new things and build trust. But if you give me that time, my sweet and calm character will emerge. I enjoy gentle strokes on my head and can really relax from that. I don't need constant attention and I'm fine just being quietly near you. Your presence alone can be comforting for me. That's why I'm looking for someone with patience and a warm heart. Someone who doesn't have high expectations and lets me discover at my own pace that a home can be a nice and safe place. Maybe I won't come to you right away and I'll need some time to build trust. But it's the small steps that make it special. When I come closer to you or enjoy your strokes, you'll know that you've built something beautiful. I'm looking for someone who gives me time. Ik ben een mooie zwart-witte tuxedo kater. Ik werd gevonden tijdens een TNR-actie. In eerste instantie leek het erop dat ik een kat was die buiten leefde, maar al snel bleek dat ik helemaal niet wild ben. Ik ben wel voorzichtig, maar ik laat mensen toe en geniet duidelijk van aandacht. Waarschijnlijk heb ik daarom in het verleden al eens een thuis gehad. Nieuwe situaties vind ik nog een beetje spannend en ik kijk graag eerst rustig de kat uit de boom. Ik heb tijd nodig om te wennen en vertrouwen op te bouwen. Maar als je mij die tijd geeft, komt mijn lieve en rustige karakter steeds meer naar voren. Ik geniet van zachte aaitjes over mijn hoofd en kan daar echt van ontspannen. Ik hoef niet voortdurend aandacht en vind het ook prima om gewoon rustig bij je in de buurt te zijn. Alleen al jouw aanwezigheid kan voor mij fijn zijn. Daarom zoek ik iemand met geduld en een warm hart. Iemand die geen hoge verwachtingen van mij heeft en mij rustig laat ontdekken dat een huis weer een fijne en veilige plek kan zijn. Misschien kom ik niet meteen naar je toe en heb ik wat langer nodig om mijn vertrouwen te geven. Maar juist de kleine stapjes maken het bijzonder. Wanneer ik zelf dichterbij kom of geniet van jouw aaitjes, weet je dat je iets moois hebt opgebouwd. Ik zoek iemand die mij de tijd geeft.
