Adrian verspielter Junghund Estimated Birth Date: 10.02.2024Shoulder Height: 45-50 cmNeutered: yes. Gender: maleOrigin: RomaniaDwelling Place: foster familyChild-friendly: yesCat-friendly: yesGets along with other dogs: yesHandicap: noAdrian was abandoned with another puppy, who is likely his brother, on a parking lot in the forest. Thus, we know nothing about their past, and their parents are unknown. The age estimate is based on the local animal welfare workers' experience. The siblings were handed over to local animal rescuers and were allowed to travel together to a foster home. The two handsome puppies are curious, lovable, and active young dogs, now with a roof over their heads, and ready to start a happy life.Adrian, of course, still wants to explore the world. Typical for a young puppy, he still has a lot of nonsense in his head. Naturally, he must learn the German puppy ABCs. Unfortunately, there was no time for this in Romania. His Romanian foster mom describes Adrian as a very playful and affectionate young dog. He loves to snuggle and lie in the arms of a human. The handsome puppy is not shy and enjoys his life as a healthy, lively male.Adrian should be able to continue gathering new impressions and making new experiences in a family. That is why we hope he will be discovered soon and be allowed to travel. Our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, neutered (if they are in the required age), and travel with an immunization certificate to their new home.

About Adrian verspielter Junghund

What life with Adrian verspielter Junghund looks like

Adrian verspielter Junghund is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutz La Palma e.V. in Hüllhorst.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Adrian verspielter Junghund, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Adrian verspielter Junghund?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutz La Palma e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Adrian verspielter Junghund on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Adrian verspielter Junghund if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutz La Palma e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Adrian verspielter Junghund already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Adrian verspielter Junghund isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutz La Palma e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Adrian verspielter Junghund and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
