Soon you will have made it and can call yourself a long-term resident. Truly a sad play for a companion like you. Arriving like the ugly duckling (almost naked, full of lice and skin irritations), you have transformed yourself into a beautiful swan visually. You are one of the most popular walk dogs, because you are attentive, always ready to immediately put into practice what you have learned, are always eager to learn new things, do not hassle cyclists, and you master dog encounters with sovereign skill. Trips are your thing, even in the dog carrier, you spring in joyfully. Stressful situations are mastered as if you have never done anything else, and so far, nothing has brought you out of your composure. Now, surely everyone wonders why this wonderful German Shepherd has been with us for so long. He unfortunately has problems with confined situations. If he feels cornered, he makes himself space. But he can be read very well and if you help him find his way out of this situation, he is immediately on board and the situation is resolved. He is a true tracker, unfortunately, he cannot indulge in this hobby excessively, as it harms his elbow. But long walks with different activities, he loves and needs them. It is advisable to present Akiro to physiotherapy every four weeks in the future home, as he tends to develop blockages in the HWS area. Small children or small pets should not live in the new home. Under certain conditions, we would also look for a foster home for Akiro.

Bald hast du es geschafft und darfst dich Langzeitinsasse nennen. Wirklich ein Trauerspiel für einen Kameraden wie dich. Gekommen wie das hässliche Entlein (fast nackig, voller Milben und Hautirritationen) hast du dich optisch in einen schönen Schwan verwandelt. Du bist einer der beliebtesten Gassihunde, denn du bist aufmerksam, immer bereit alles erlernte sofort umzusetzen, bist immer dabei neues zu lernen, pöbelst keine Radfahrer an und auch Hundebegegnung meisterst du souverän. Ausflüge sind dein Ding, sogar in den Hundeanhänger springst du freudig rein. Stressige Situationen meisterst du als hättest du nie etwas anderes getan und bisher gab es nichts, was dich aus der Ruhe gebracht hat. Jetzt fragt sich sicherlich jeder, weshalb dieser tolle Schäfi so lange bei uns sitzt. Er hat leider Probleme, wenn es um beengte Situationen geht. Hat er das Gefühl in die Ecke gedrängt zu werden, dann verschafft er sich Raum. Lesen kann man ihn aber sehr gut und wenn man ihm hilft, aus dieser Situation herauszufinden, ist er sofort dabei und die Situation ist aufgelöst. Er ist ein wahrer Fährtensucher, bedauerlicherweise darf er diesem Hobby nicht exzessiv nachgehen, da dies seinen Ellenbogen schadet. Aber lange Spaziergänge mit unterschiedlichen Beschäftigungen, die liebt und braucht er. Es ist ratsam, Akiro im zukünftigen Zuhause alle 4 Wochen einer Physiotherapie vorzustellen, da er zu Blockaden im HWS Bereich neigt. Kleine Kinder oder Kleintiere sollten im neuen Zuhause nicht leben. Unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen würden wir für Akiro auch eine Pflegestelle suchen.
