Alfie & Tommy

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 5 years

???? Why is nobody choosing Alfie & Tommy? ???? Every day these two lovely boys wait patiently, hoping today might be the day someone falls in love with them. Sadly, that day hasn't come… yet. Alfie (8) and Tommy (5) came into our care after the heartbreaking loss of their owner. They lost the person they loved most, but thankfully they still have each other. That's why we're determined to find them a home together . Alfie is a gorgeous Lynx Point Snow Shoe Siamese with the biggest heart. He's a complete cuddle bug who will happily curl up on your lap, nudge you with gentle head bumps and soak up every bit of affection you're willing to give. Tommy is a sweet, gentle boy who quietly enjoys life with his best friend by his side. They're an easy-going pair who ask for very little—just a warm bed, kind people and the chance to stay together. They are: ???? 8 and 5 years old ???? Neutered ???? Vaccinated ???? Microchipped ???? Up to date with flea and worm treatment ???? Clean in the home and perfect with their litter trays ???? No known health issues ???? Fostered in Llantrisant ???? Come with 5 weeks' free Agria Pet Insurance They enjoy watching the world go by from the safety of a catio, so they're looking for an indoor home with access to a secure catio or safely enclosed garden. Sometimes the older cats are overlooked because they're no longer tiny kittens. But what Alfie and Tommy offer is something special. They're past the chaos, full of love, and ready to become someone's loyal companions. Please don't let them spend any longer waiting. If you can't adopt, sharing this post could help it reach the one person they've been waiting for. ❤️ APPLY HERE CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION FORM Technical issue If the form links won’t open press and hold or right click on the link a box will open press open in new tab and the form will open for you

About Alfie & Tommy

What life with Alfie & Tommy looks like

Alfie & Tommy is a very small adult mixed breed cat waiting at Friends of Animals Wales in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Alfie & Tommy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Alfie & Tommy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Friends of Animals Wales handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Alfie & Tommy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Alfie & Tommy if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Friends of Animals Wales will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Alfie & Tommy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Alfie & Tommy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Friends of Animals Wales early rather than rehoming privately; they know Alfie & Tommy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
