Almas Geschichte ist genauso besonders wie sie selbst. Unsere Tierschützerin Tina fand die kleine Hündin ganz allein in den Bergen. Dort lebte sie zwischen großen Hunden, die sie offenbar beschützten und mit ihr gemeinsam ums Überleben kämpften. Wie lange Alma dort unterwegs war und was sie zuvor erlebt hat, wissen wir leider nicht. Heute ist sie in Sicherheit und wartet darauf, endlich ihre eigene Familie zu finden. Anfangs zeigt sich Alma neuen Menschen gegenüber noch etwas schüchtern. Das ist nach ihrem bisherigen Leben kaum verwunderlich. Gibt man ihr jedoch etwas Zeit und bedrängt sie nicht, zeigt sie ihre freundliche und liebevolle Seite. Sie möchte Vertrauen fassen und die Welt entdecken – nur eben in ihrem eigenen Tempo. Mit anderen Hunden versteht sich Alma sehr gut und orientiert sich gerne an ihnen. Katzen wurden bisher nicht getestet. Mit ihren etwa acht Monaten steckt Alma mitten in der Junghundezeit und wahrscheinlich auch schon in der Pubertät. Jetzt entwickelt sich ihr Charakter weiter und sie sammelt jeden Tag neue Erfahrungen. Geduld, Verständnis und liebevolle Konsequenz sind in dieser Lebensphase besonders wichtig, denn manchmal werden Regeln noch einmal hinterfragt und die Welt erscheint plötzlich unglaublich spannend. Optisch erinnert Alma an einen kleinen Terrier-Mix. Natürlich können wir ihre Rasse nicht sicher bestimmen, doch Terrier gelten häufig als kluge, neugierige und aufgeweckte Hunde, die gerne ihre Umgebung erkunden und sowohl körperlich als auch geistig beschäftigt werden möchten. Mit einer liebevollen Erziehung, abwechslungsreichen Spaziergängen und kleinen Denkaufgaben entwickeln sie sich oft zu wunderbaren Begleitern. Da Alma bisher vermutlich noch nie in einem eigenen Zuhause gelebt hat, sollte man davon ausgehen, dass Stubenreinheit, Leinenführigkeit, Alleinbleiben und viele Alltagsabläufe erst noch gelernt werden müssen. Ein Umzug bedeutet für jeden Hund Stress und viele neue Eindrücke. Mit Geduld und positiver Verstärkung wird Alma sich Schritt für Schritt in ihrem neuen Leben zurechtfinden. Der Besuch einer positiv arbeitenden Hundeschule kann dabei eine wertvolle Unterstützung sein. Für Alma wünschen wir uns Menschen, die ihr die Zeit geben, anzukommen und Vertrauen aufzubauen. Wer ihr diese Chance schenkt, wird eine treue, fröhliche und liebevolle kleine Begleiterin gewinnen.
