Alpaka is a young, medium-sized stray dog that was found in the village of Kukowo in spring 2025. She was born around 2023/24 and is now ready for adoption. Initially, she was terribly afraid of people, barked at us, and didn't even come near treats. Gradually, progress could be seen and it became clear that Alpaka no longer avoided contact, she didn't run away - she stood calmly and allowed herself to be petted and slightly ruffled. It was still visible that she is a very delicate little dog. From the description by volunteer Beaty from the first half of August 2025: Alpaka is wonderful! Once she stopped being so scared, it turned out that she is a nice, affectionate and fluffy dog. She walks well on a leash, knows basic commands (sit, shake), is well-behaved, and generally doesn't react to other dogs - at least on walks (because from the crate she likes to bark a bit). She very nicely tolerates grooming or cosmetic treatments or in the clinic - you can touch her anywhere, stroke her, brush her. She stares at people and seems shy, but when you stop petting her, she lifts her paw and places it on the person, wanting more! I fell in love, a wonderful dog...

Alpaka to młoda sunia, średniej wielkości odłowiona wiosną 2025 w miejscowości Kukowo jako dziki pies. Uodziła się ok. 2023/24, obecnie jest gotowa do adopcji. Początkowo przeraźliwie bała się człowieka, oszczekiwała nas, nie podchodziła nawet do smakołyków. Stopniowo dostrzec można było progres i coraz lepiej było widać, że Alpaka nie unikała już kontaktu, nie uciekała – stała spokojnie i pozwalała się głaskać i troszkę poczochrać. Wciąż widać było, że jest to bardzo delikatna sunieczka. Z opisu wolontariuszki Beaty z pierwszej połowy sierpnia 2025: Alpaka jest cudna! Jak już przestała się tak bardzo bać, to okazało się, że jest to fajny, kontaktowy i miziasty pies. Dobrze chodzi na smyczy, zna podstawowe komendy (siad, łapa), jest grzeczna, raczej nie reaguje na inne psy – przynajmniej na spacerze (bo z boksu lubi sobie poszczekać). Bardzo ładnie znosi zabiegi, czy to kąpielowo-kosmetyczne czy w gabinecie – można ją wszędzie dotknąć, pogłaskać, poczesać. Jest wpatrzona w człowieka i niby nieśmiała, ale jak się ją przestaje głaskać, to łapkę podnosi i kładzie na człowieku, żeby więcej! Ja się zakochałam, wspaniały pies…
