Altea is a friendly and easy-going Galgo female who was taken in by Altea from an overcrowded shelter to give the dogs a chance at a good home. Altea is still underweight and is being fed to gain some weight and be spayed. Her body has scars, but these will heal over time. Altea is a great companion for other dogs. We will update once Toni has taken her on a walk and can give his assessment. For now, Altea needs some time to rest. Born on 30.07.2024, size approximately 62 cm, friendly, easy-going, gets along with other dogs, at the shelter since August 2026. Altea is microchipped, vaccinated, spayed, tested for all Mediterranean diseases, and a blood test of organ values will be done before departure. Altea will be placed with a safety harness, a GPS tracker is mandatory. Altea hat Minerva mit weiteren Galgos aus einem überfüllten Shelta übernommen, um den Hunden eine Chance auf ein gutes Zuhause zu geben. Altea ist, wie die anderen Galgas auch, noch sehr untergewichtig, sie wird gerade etwas gepäppelt, damit sie ein bisschen an Gewicht zunehmen und kastriert werden kann. Ihr Körper ist gezeichnet, aber das ist äußerlich und wird sich mit der Zeit geben. Charakterlich ist Altea eine ganz freundliche und unkomplizierte Hündin und verträglich mit allen Artgenossen. Wir werden erneut berichten, sobald sich Toni ihrer angenommen hat, sie mit ihm spazieren war und er seine Einschätzung abgeben kann. Vorerst aber soll Altea erstmal ein bisschen zur Ruhe kommen.
