Information: In January and March 2026, a number of our team members visited Elisa's asylum in Romania for another week, with which we worked closely together. This way we get to know the dogs as well as possible, we contribute to their socialization and we make pictures and videos, so that we can present the dogs to potential host families or adopters as best we can. Only the puppies and adult dogs we expect will be happy in the Netherlands - and their adopters with the dog - will be mediated by us. Puppy Älva is one of them! In the kennel Älva was initially waiting. Our team members visited these pups every day, and the last two days of the visit Älva was a lot more free and open to contact. She was also taken out for a walk, along with Pup Izzy. The movies and pictures on this page give a good impression of our meeting and the walk with her. We expect this female dog to grow into a (smaller) middle size. Which breeds are represented in her (ancestors) is unknown - "mama" dog Joy can be seen on the images. Joy is not the mother of all the puppies she took care of in the shelter - but she is the biological mother of Älva. The final size of the pups remains an estimate, especially while they are so young. Puppies can travel from Romania to the Netherlands if they are about 16 weeks old, then their Rabies graft is valid. Of course the pups also get all other vaccinations, their health is examined and they get a registered chip and a passport

* voor een toelichting, lees Waarom wij voorzichtig zijn met het plaatsen van onze honden bij gezinnen met jonge kinderen alstublieft. Informatie: In januari en maart 2026 is een aantal van onze teamleden opnieuw een week lang op bezoek geweest bij Elisa's asiel in Roemenië, waarmee we nauw samenwerken. Zo leren we de honden daar zo goed mogelijk kennen, we dragen bij aan hun socialisatie en we maken foto's en filmpjes, zodat we de hondjes zo goed mogelijk kunnen voorstellen aan potentiële gastgezinnen of adoptanten. Alleen de pups en volwassen honden waarvan we verwachten dat ze gelukkig zullen worden in Nederland - en hun adoptanten met de hond - worden door ons bemiddeld. Puppy Älva hoort daar zeker bij! In de kennel was Älva in eerste instantie afwachtend. Onze teamleden zijn elke dag bij deze pups op bezoek geweest, en de tijdens de laatste twee dagen van het bezoek was Älva al een heel stuk vrijer en meer open voor contact. Ze is ook mee uit wandelen genomen, samen met pup Izzy. De filmpjes en foto's op deze pagina geven een goede indruk van onze ontmoeting en de wandeling met haar. We verwachten dat dit teefje zal uitgroeien tot een (kleinere) middenmaat. Welke rassen er in haar (voor)ouders vertegenwoordigd zijn, is onbekend - "mama" hond Joy is te zien op de beelden. Joy is niet de moeder van alle pups die ze in het asiel onder haar hoede heeft genomen - maar wél de biologische moeder van Älva. De uiteindelijke grootte van de pups blijft een schatting, zeker nu ze nog zo jong zijn. Pups mogen vanuit Roemenië naar Nederland reizen als ze zo'n 16 weken zijn, dan is hun Rabiës enting geldig. Natuurlijk krijgen de pups ook alle andere inentingen, wordt hun gezondheid onderzocht en krijgen ze een geregistreerde chip en een paspoort
