How do I contact the shelter about AMAZON?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw AMAZON on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt AMAZON if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is AMAZON already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if AMAZON isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know AMAZON and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

AMAZON

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 6 months

Amazon is a wonderful gentleman born in 2020, which means he is currently around 6 years old. Amazon is at an ideal, fully balanced and shaped age - he has left his youthful antics behind, offering instead a sense of calm, life wisdom and boundless gratitude for every gesture of affection. He weighs around 10 kg, proudly representing a small, compact and very handy format that will easily find its place in any apartment or house with a garden. Amazon came under our care extremely neglected - his fur was in a dramatic state, forming a crust of tangled dreadlocks that caused him great discomfort. Today, thanks to care and grooming, this fluffy handsome man looks completely different and is flourishing anew every day! Despite his difficult past, Amazon remains an extremely gentle, polite, quiet and contact-oriented dog. What is very important, Amazon can beautifully walk on a leash - walks with him are pleasant, harmonious and completely problem-free. The shelter box is not a place for such a delicate little one - Amazon is eagerly looking for a home where he will be surrounded by the care he deserves forever! Why is the unique and subtle Amazon the perfect friend for you? Excellent attitude towards other dogs: Amazon accepts other dogs wonderfully! His gentle and accommodating nature makes it easy for him to live in a house where there is already a friendly resident dog. Model walking manners: He handles the leash very well - daily walks by his side are pure pleasure and relaxation. Handy format and fluffy charm: Weighing only 10 kg, it is the ideal lap dog - small, charming and made for safely nestling in a soft blanket. Extraordinary gentleness and gratitude: Despite the harm and neglect, he has kept a pure, innocent heart that will give his new family the most faithful love. We are looking for a home for Amazon that is responsible, caring and full of empathy - people who will take care of his soft coat, but above all give him a sense of security and a permanent place in the family. Give him a safe haven, and this disarming, fluffy little guy will melt your heart.

Mimo trudnej przeszłości pozostał psem niezwykle łagodnym, grzecznym, cichym i kontaktowym. Genialny stosunek do innych psów: Amazon wspaniale akceptuje inne czworonogi! Poręczny format i kudłaty wdzięk: Ważąc zaledwie 10 kg, to idealny pies nakolankowy – niewielki, uroczy i stworzony do bezpiecznego wtulania się w miękki kocyk. Podaruj mu bezpieczną przystań, a ten rozbrajający, kudła

About AMAZON

What life with AMAZON looks like

AMAZON is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.
