Ambrosia was born with her two siblings at our shelter. Their parents were surrendered to our shelter and shared an unspayed transport box on their way to us, which is how the three white dwarfs were created. Ambrosia is currently housed at our shelter with a neutered ram, and she definitely has the upper hand in that relationship. She is very curious, playful, and interested in people. Ambrosia knows people and will seek them out occasionally, but she is also clear about when she does not want to interact. So far, Ambrosia has only lived in indoor housing, but she can now be accustomed to outdoor housing. Since Ambrosia and her siblings E.C. are positive, they can only be rehomed with other E.C. positive rabbits. General information: Rabbits have a strong need for movement. The minimum floor space for a rabbit enclosure that is permanently occupied by two rabbits is 6m² (+20% for each additional animal). Rabbits need multiple times of exercise within these 6m². If there is no possibility to provide exercise, the floor space for the enclosure increases to 10m². Rabbits are purely herbivorous and go on foraging trips during their active periods. High-quality hay, varied green feed, and clean water should always be available to the animals.

Ambrosia ist mit ihren zwei Geschwistern bei uns im Tierheim geboren. Ihre Eltern wurden bei uns im Tierheim Abgeben und teilten sich (unkastriert) eine Transportbox auf dem Weg zu uns, so entstanden die drei weißen Zwerge. Ambrosia sitzt bei uns im Tierheim aktuell mit einem kastrierten Bock zusammen, in dieser Beziehung hat sie auch definitiv die Hosen an. Sie ist sehr neugierig, verspielt und interessiert am Menschen. Ambrosia kennt den Menschen und sucht ihn auch gelegentlich von selber, allerdings zeigt sie es auch deutlich, wenn sie keine Lust mehr hat. Bislang hat Ambrosia ausschließlich in Innenhaltung gelebt, sie kann aber nun auch an die Außenhaltung gewöhnt werden.Allgemeine Informationen:Kaninchen haben grundsätzlich ein starkes Bedürfnis nach Bewegung.Die Grundfläche für ein dauerhaftes Kaninchengehege, welches von zwei Kaninchen bewohnt wird, liegt bei mindestens 6m² (+20 % für jedes weitere Tier). Zu den 6m² benötigen Kaninchen täglich mehrmals Auslauf.Besteht keine Möglichkeit den Kaninchen Auslauf zu gewähren, so steigt die Grundfläche für das Gehege auf 10m².Kaninchen sind reine Pflanzenfresser, die während ihrer Aktivitätsphasen auf Nahrungssuche gehen.
