Amdir neve azt jelenti: „remény”. Nem véletlenül kapta ezt a nevet… Amikor hozzánk került, tényleg csak reménykedni tudtunk benne, hogy időben érkezett számára a segítség. Akkor még mindössze 2 kilós, megtört cicus volt. Mára már 4 kiló, ivartalanításon is átesett, FIV/FELV negatív, és hamarosan megkaphatja az első oltását is. De nemcsak fizikailag erősödött meg. Az ivartalanítás utáni hetekben egyre nyugodtabb lett, és a kezdeti bizalmatlansága is rengeteget oldódott – mind az emberek, mind a cicatársai felé. Ma már hagyja a simogatást, sőt… kifejezetten szereti a buksisimit, és már ő maga is kéri! Amdir most már biztonságban van, jól érzi magát ideiglenes gondozójánál, de egy valami még hiányzik az életéből: egy saját, végleges család. Ha ez is teljesülne, akkor az ő története tényleg egy igazi csoda lenne. Ő egy hálás, nyugodt, körülbelül 2–3 éves nőstény cica, aki végre megtanulta, hogy az emberi kéz nemcsak fájdalmat, hanem szeretetet és biztonságot is jelenthet.
