Delia - Anhängliche - seeks home - Female dog, approx. 4.5 years, born approx. 2022, height approx. 45-50 cm, spayed, vaccinated, chipped, EU pet passport. - Still waiting in Romania! The friendly Delia is a former stray dog from Romania. She was caught there and was lucky to come to our dedicated animal rescuer Andreea's shelter. It is a municipal shelter where Andreea provides a little better conditions. Delia is described as extremely friendly. She especially loves Andreea's helpers. When she went out to the open area for the first time for a photo shoot, she was a little unsure. Everything was new to her - so she was glad to have her beloved person by her side. She kept looking for protection from him because she trusted him. Delia will therefore need some time to get used to a new living situation, but since she has trust in people, she will succeed. Of course, she still needs to learn the dog basics. She is very social and friendly with her fellow dogs and humans. We are looking for an empathetic and loving home with a house and garden for the dear Delia. Also a foster home. Before departure, test for babesiosis, borreliosis, ehrlichiosis, anaplasmosis, dirofilaria and leishmaniasis. Delia is still in Romania. - Contribution to costs when

Anhängliche - DELIA - sucht Zuhause - Hündin, ca. 4,5 J., geb. ca. 2022, SH ca. 45–50 cm, kastriert, geimpft, gechipt, EU-Heimtierpass.

About Anhängliche

What life with Anhängliche looks like

Anhängliche is an adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tier-Not-Hilfe in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Anhängliche, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Anhängliche?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tier-Not-Hilfe handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Anhängliche on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Anhängliche if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tier-Not-Hilfe will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Anhängliche already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Anhängliche isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tier-Not-Hilfe early rather than rehoming privately; they know Anhängliche and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
