Anna is a beautiful 7-year-old Podenca with a gentle and soft appearance. She was brought to our shelter on September 12, 2026, along with three other Podencas. Although a bit shy, Anna has quickly adapted and enjoys the attention she receives. She is a sweet and affectionate lady who likes to be close to people she trusts. Anna is a bit reserved and takes her time to observe everything, but she loves to come for a hug and snuggle up against you. She walks well on a leash, being calm and sweet, not anxious but shy. Her shyness makes her even more special, as behind her cautious demeanor lies a heart full of love. Anna has tested slightly positive for Leishmaniasis, but this should not prevent her from living a happy life full of love and warmth. We are happy to discuss this further if you have any questions. When Anna feels safe, she opens up and shows how loyal and grateful she is. We are looking for a warm home for her where patience, understanding, and love are a given. A place where Anna can finally feel that she doesn't have to wait anymore, but can just come home.

Pepito dog shelter: Input 12 september 2026: Anna is een prachtige Podenca met een hele zachte uitstraling van 7 jaar oud die samen met drie andere Podenca’s bij ons werd binnengebracht.Een beetje onder de indruk maar ze heeft zich snel aangepast en geniet van de aandacht die ze krijgt.Anna is een lieve en aanhankelijke dame die graag dicht bij de mensen staat die ze vertrouwt. Ze is wat verlegen en neemt rustig de tijd om alles te observeren, maar komt dan graag om een knuffel te halen en zich tegen je aan te duwen. Lopen aan de lijn doet Anna prima, ze is rustig en lief, niet angstig maar verlegen. Haar verlegenheid maakt haar alleen maar bijzonderder, want achter die voorzichtige houding schuilt een hart vol liefde. Anna is licht positief getest op Leismania, dit hoeft een gelukkig leven vol liefde en warmte echter niet in de weg staan. Bij vragen hierover gaan we graag met je in gesprek. Wanneer Anna zich veilig voelt, bloeit ze open en laat ze zien hoe trouw en dankbaar ze is. Voor haar zoeken we een warm thuis waar geduld, begrip en liefde vanzelfsprekend zijn. Een plek waar Anna eindelijk mag voelen dat ze niet meer hoeft te wachten, maar gewoon thuis mag komen.
