He is looking for a new home because his owner has caring responsibilities and feels he is not getting the time and attention he deserves. He currently lives with his brother, however, in consultation with our behaviourist, we feel he will be happier and more settled if he lives with other dogs of different ages. Arlo is a typical dachshund who likes to burrow under the sofa cushions for his regular naps and to sniff and explore. He enjoys life both inside and outside the home, and is an easy-going boy who is happy to meet new people or dogs. He likes his regular walks and is allowed off-lead. He would suit a family with older, sensible children as he is a sociable boy who loves to play. Arlo is house-trained and currently sleeps downstairs with his brother in a crate. Once settled, he can be left for up to four hours. He is in excellent health. Arlo is a young dog who is ready for a loving home that can offer him stability, reassurance, and plenty of affection.
