DATE OF BIRTH: 01/01/2014 BREED: LABRADOR RETRIEVER HEALTH: POSITIVE FOR Leishmania. TEMPERAMENT: He has a very good temperament. He is calm and gets along very well with other dogs. Affectionate and clean. Aslan was found abandoned in deplorable conditions and at imminent risk of death. He had a fever and acute infections. He was rescued and taken to the veterinarian where he was admitted for a full health evaluation and to find an appropriate treatment. He had Leishmania that had affected the external parts of his body (nails, ears, eyes…), but fortunately, it had not affected his internal organs. The wound on his ear is still in the process of healing and will leave a scar, as he has lost a small piece of it. Blood tests also revealed Anaplasma, but after a month of treatment, it has already disappeared. Now he is in our animal shelter, and once the Leishmania treatment is completed, he only needs to take a simple maintenance oral treatment and have his timely check-ups. The photos of his transformation are spectacular. We have finally discovered a fantastic dog with exceptional temperament who is sure to give a lot of love to the family that adopts him. He gets along well with other dogs.

FECHA DE NACIMIENTO: 01/01/2014 RAZA: LABRADOR RETRIEVER SALUD: POSITIVO A LEISHMANIA. CARÁCTER: Tiene un carácter muy bueno. Es tranquilo y se lleva muy bien con otros perros. Cariñoso y limpio. A ASLAN lo encontraron abandonado en unas condiciones lamentables y en inminente riesgo de muerte. Con fiebre y unas infecciones agudas. Se pudo rescatar y llevar al veterinario donde quedó ingresado para hacer una evaluación completa de su estado y poder buscar un tratamiento adecuado. Tenía una leishmania que le había afectado a la parte externa de su cuerpo (uñas, orejas, ojos…), pero por suerte no había afectado a sus órganos internos. La herida de la oreja todavía está en proceso de cicatrización y le va a dejar marca, pues ha perdido un pequeño trozo. Con la analítica también se descubrió que tenía anaplasma, pero con un mes de tratamiento ya ha desaparecido. Ahora ya se encuentra en nuestro refugio y, una vez finalizado el tratamiento para la leishmania, solo tiene que tomar de forma oral un tratamiento sencillo de mantenimiento, y hacerle sus controles oportunos. Las fotos de su cambio son espectaculares. Hemos descubierto por fín un perro fantástico, de carácter excepcional, que seguro dará mucho amor a la familia que lo adopte.
