Adopt Arco

Labrador Retriever · Male · Senior · 11 years

Date of birth: 11 / 08 / 2014 The treatment against the film was completed. He's very afraid. Their recovery is progressive, but slow. When he takes confidence, he's very loving. In September 2016 we received a desperate call for help. Arc had entered the heath of Jerez, with the two legs on the right side "broken," and therefore at risk of imminent sacrifice. We took care of him right away. After having passed a first veterinary review, we decided to move him to Madrid to a foster home to have a second opinion of a traumatologist of our trust. The result was the diagnosis of elbow placement in the front leg, and bone fracture in the back leg. The problem is that these injuries were about 5 weeks old, so they had already begun to form fibrosis and callus. It was therefore decided to allow the fracture to follow its consolidation, and to operate elbow placement, to try to make it fully functional. As can be seen in the X-rays, with two surgeries on the joint, the perfect replacement was achieved. He also had a film, but the treatment is over. In a few months the test will be repeated to confirm that it has already removed all the parasites. But the most serious problem was his psychological recovery. ARCO had suffered the unimaginable, and was very afraid: unable to react to any stimulus, blocked by fear without the ability to react. It is in reception for life. FECHA DE NACIMIENTO: 11/08/2014 RAZA: CRUCE DE LABRADOR SALUD: Buena.
