About 7 years (born around 2019), 51 cm, male, neutered, still in Poland, Boguszyce. Update 05.25 from a team member: Asteriks is a really nice guy: he approaches people openly, cuddles up and enjoys the closeness - this is how I experienced him during my visit now and also last autumn. After a while, he then goes off again, takes a sniffing round on the lawn or looks for some toy, and soon comes back for more affection. In his dog group, Asteriks lives with a very agile female dog and a gentle young male dog - initially, he let this one know that he is the older one and has authority, but in a completely correct way. I really hope that dear Asteriks finds a wonderful home with people who want to offer him a varied, beautiful life! Video: Addition: Asteriks' brother Theo (formerly Ollie) has already moved to his forever home in Switzerland and would be very happy if his brother Asteriks could join him soon. During one of our walks, Asteriks was allowed to accompany us. At first, he was a bit overwhelmed, but once we left the animal shelter behind, Asteriks showed his best side. It was a change from his usual routine at the shelter. He calmed down quickly and really enjoyed his walk. Videos June 24: Background Asteriks came to the shelter in Bogu at the beginning of 2023 together with his brother Ollie. Ollie has now found a home (we only hear good things about it there), and we are now hoping very much that Asteriks will also have the luck and find a nice home. He is a total curious fellow who sniffs everywhere during walks. But he also rushes to the caretakers in between to get some affection. Asteriks is always very excited when he gets attention from the staff. He would be very happy to have a home with active people. Asteriks gets on well with female dog, but prefers if males stay at a distance. We think he would like to be a single dog. Who will give the interested and interesting Asteriks a wonderful home? Er läuft super an der Leine und lebt in einer gemischten Hundegruppe. Asteriks geht offen auf Menschen zu und ist bereit, dein Herz im Sturm zu erobern. ❤️ Update 05.25 von einem Teammitglied Asteriks ist ein richtig feiner Kerl: er geht offen auf die Menschen zu, schmiegt sich an und geniesst die Nähe – so habe ich ihn bei meinem Besuch jetzt erlebt und auch letztes Jahr im Herbst. Nach einem Weilchen zieht er dann wieder los, dreht eine Schnüffelrunde auf der Wiese oder sucht sich irgendein Spielzeug, um alsbald wieder zu einem herzukommen für weitere Streicheleinheiten. In seiner Hundegruppe lebt Asteriks mit einer sehr agilen Hündin und einem sanften jungen Rüden – diesem hat er anfangs mitgeteilt, dass er der Ältere ist und nun mal das Sagen hat, aber auf völlig korrekte Art und Weise. Ich drücke dem lieben Asteriks ganz fest die Daumen, dass er ein tolles Zuhause findet bei Menschen, die ihm ein abwechslungsreiches, schönes Leben bieten wollen! Für ihn war es eine Abwechslung zum Alltag im Tierheim. Er beruhigte sich schnell und hatte seinen Spaziergang so richtig genossen. Videos Juni 24: Vorgeschichte Asteriks kam Anfang 2023 zusammen mit seinem Bruder Ollie ins Tierheim nach Bogu. Ollie hat mittlerweile ein Zuhause gefunden (wir hören nur Gutes von dort) und nun hoffen wir sehr, dass auch Asteriks das Glück hat und ein schönes Zuhause findet. Er ist ein total neugieriger Kerl, der bei den Spaziergängen überall herumschnüffelt. Zwischendurch kommt er aber zu den Betreuern gesaust, um sich Streicheleinheiten abzuholen. Asteriks ist immer ganz aus dem Häuschen, wenn er die Aufmerksamkeit der Pfleger bekommt. Er würde sich sehr über ein Zuhause bei aktiven Menschen freuen. Mit Hündinnen versteht sich Asteriks gut, bei Rüden zieht er es vor, wenn sie auf Distanz bleiben. Wir vermuten, dass er gerne ein Einzelhund wäre.
