Hello, my name is Athena. I was found running free, and since it seems no one is missing me, I am now searching for a new home. I am a very active and friendly female dog who can wrap everyone around my little finger and settle into any heart quickly. I love women very much. At the beginning, I have a bit of fear of very large and muscular men and need some time to open up. I go well on a leash once the initial stress has passed, wear my muzzle bravely, travel comfortably by car, and am house-trained in the animal shelter. My great passion is toys. Small toys, big toys, balls, frisbees, stuffed animals... just everything! Unfortunately, I get so engrossed that I can't let go. Therefore, I should only be given toys in moderation and in a relaxed setting, and fetch games should not be played with me. Also, exchanging toys is something we still need to practice. I am friendly with other dogs but not so fond of cats. Health-wise, I show no issues. I am looking for a home with people who already have experience with dogs and understand how to keep me from being overworked without overloading me. Head and nose work should be encouraged with me. There should be no cats or small children in the same household if you have a dog; we can discuss this individually! Hallo,Mein Name ist Athena. Ich wurde freilaufend gefunden und da mich scheinbar niemand vermisst, suche ich nun eine neue Bleibe.Ich bin eine sehr aktive und freundliche Hündin, die gleich alle um den kleinen Finger wickelt und sich ganz schnell in jedes Herz einnistet. Frauen mag ich supergerne. Vor sehr großen und kräftigen Männern habe ich zu Beginn immer ein wenig Angst und brauche einige Zeit um mich zu öffnen. Ich gehe gut an der Leine, wenn der erste Stress mal abgefallen ist, trage brav meinen Maulkorb, fahre entspannt mit dem Auto mit und zeige mich im Tierheim stubenrein. Meine große Leidenschaft ist Spielzeug. Kleines Spielzeug, großes Spielzeug, Bälle, Frisbees, Stofftiere... einfach alles! Leider steigere ich mich dann schnell hinein und kann mich garnicht mehr davon lösen. Deshalb sollte ich Spielzeug nur dosiert und in entspanntem Rahmen zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen, Balliwerfen sollte man mit mir garnicht. Auch das "Tauschen" muss man mit mir noch üben.Mit anderen Hunden bin ich nach Sympathie verträglich, Katzen mag ich nicht so gerne.Gesundheitlich zeige ich mich unauffällig.Ich suche ein Zuhause bei Menschen die schon Erfahrung mit Hunden mitbringen und es verstehen mich auszulasten, ohne mich zu überfordern. Kopf- & Nasenarbeit sollte bei mir gefördert werden.
