He is between 4 and 5 years old and, like his companions, he arrived at the center after a life that was not fair to him. Nevertheless, he never lost his sweetness. ATHOS is one of those dogs that exude peace from the very first moment. Calm, balanced, and noble, he has a way of being that makes everything easy around him. He does not seek to draw attention or be the center of attention, but he ends up winning over anyone who spends a few minutes with him. It is true that compared to Aramis, who is probably one of the most affectionate dogs to have passed through the center, ATHOS can appear a bit more independent. But let no one be mistaken: ATHOS is tremendously affectionate. Much more than most people imagine when they think of a Spanish Greyhound. He loves being petted, being company, and feeling close to people. Like his companions, he does not know how to play. No one ever taught him how to do it. He does not ask for balls, toys, or great entertainments. What he seeks is something much more important: a home where he can receive affection, a bed where he can rest peacefully, and a family with which to share his life. He is sociable, well-mannered, and very easy to handle. One of those dogs that fit into a family almost from the first day and, without making a sound, end up occupying a huge place in the hearts of those who know them. ATHOS has already waited too long. Tiene entre 4 y 5 años y, como sus compañeros, llegó al centro después de haber pasado por una vida que no fue justa con él.Aun así, nunca perdió la dulzura.Athos es uno de esos perros que transmiten paz desde el primer momento. Tranquilo, equilibrado y noble, tiene una forma de ser que hace que todo sea fácil a su lado. No busca llamar la atención ni ser el protagonista, pero acaba conquistando a cualquiera que le dedica unos minutos.Es cierto que, comparado con Aramis, que probablemente sea uno de los perros más cariñosos que han pasado por el centro, Athos puede parecer un poco más independiente. Pero que nadie se confunda: Athos es tremendamente cariñoso. Mucho más de lo que la mayoría de la gente imagina cuando piensa en un galgo.Le encantan las caricias, la compañía y sentirse cerca de las personas. Como sus compañeros, no sabe jugar. Nadie le enseñó nunca cómo hacerlo. No pide pelotas, ni juguetes, ni grandes entretenimientos. Lo que busca es algo mucho más importante: un hogar donde recibir cariño, una cama donde descansar tranquilo y una familia con la que compartir su vida.Es sociable, educado y muy fácil de llevar. De esos perros que encajan en una familia casi desde el primer día y que, sin hacer ruido, terminan ocupando un lugar enorme en el corazón de quienes los conocen.Athos ya ha esperado demasiado.
