🐾 Aureliusz—a senior, ginger gentleman with a big heart—is looking for a home that will take good care of his health! Aureliusz is an approximately 14-year-old tomcat with a stunning, fiery-red coat. With his charm and wisdom, he can win anyone’s heart. Life hasn’t been kind to him in his old age, yet he still believes in people. We’re searching for a responsible, loving home for him—one that won’t be intimidated by medical challenges and will offer this special ginger fellow a safe haven for the autumn of his life. He’s an absolute, unconditional friend to humans. Despite his age and health issues, Aureliusz remains incredibly sociable. He loves being close to people, actively seeks attention, and above all, adores being petted. He’s the kind of cat who’ll bring plenty of warmth, calm, and gratitude into your home. 🏥 Health and Special Needs (Important!) Aureliusz is a cat who requires regular veterinary care and strict adherence to a routine: Diabetes: The cat has diabetes and takes essential medication every day. His future guardian must be prepared to administer doses regularly and monitor his condition closely. Strict diet: This is a crucial part of his treatment. Aureliusz must absolutely receive the right, specialized food. Abdominal hernia: At the shelter, he underwent surgery to remove it. Unfortunately, most likely due to his diabetes (which complicates tissue healing), the hernia has recurred. Given his age and current health condition, veterinarians won’t attempt another surgery—at least not until his diabetes is fully stabilized. For now, the hernia requires gentle handling and careful attention from his caregiver. We’re looking for a calm, mindful, and organized home for Aureliusz. The ideal guardian is someone for whom giving medication at fixed times or keeping track of a special feeding schedule isn’t a problem. In return, this ginger gentleman will reward you with the most beautiful purrs and boundless love—love only an older cat, seasoned by life’s trials, can offer. Born around May 2012, Aureliusz is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed. He tested negative for FIV and FeLV. For our feline residents, we’re looking for homes that are “no-escape” homes. Aureliusz to około 14-letni kocur o przepięknym, rudym umaszczeniu, który swoim urokiem i mądrością potrafi rozkochać w sobie każdego. Los nie oszczędzał go na starość, ale on wciąż wierzy w ludzi. Szukamy dla niego odpowiedzialnego, kochającego domu, który nie przestraszy się wyzwań medycznych i podaruje temu wyjątkowemu rudzielcowi bezpieczną przystań na jesień życia. To absolutny i bezwarunkowy przyjaciel człowieka. Mimo wieku i dolegliwości, Aureliusz jest niezwykle towarzyski. Uwielbia bliskość, sam domaga się uwagi i ponad wszystko kocha być głaskany. Na ten moment przepuklina wymaga delikatnego obchodzenia się z kocurem. Dla Aureliusza szukamy domu spokojnego, świadomego i zorganizowanego. Idealny opiekun to osoba, dla której podawanie leków o stałych porach czy pilnowanie specjalnej miski nie stanowi problemu.
