Marley came to us as a found dog with a broken front leg. However, this injury healed completely a long time ago and has not caused him any problems for years. Marley is an active and open-minded dog who loves going for walks. He gets along very well with other dogs and is friendly and sociable with his fellow canines. His leash manners are also very pleasant. He is always eager for a treat and always motivated to work with you. With new people, Marley needs some time at first to build trust. Once you have won his trust, however, he reveals himself to be a big cuddler, enjoys attention, and is an uncomplicated companion in everyday life. Like many dogs, Marley has situations he doesn't enjoy as much. However, he shows clearly and fairly when something is unpleasant for him – for example, at the vet or when being put in or taken out of a harness. His body language is easy to read, so you can respect his limits. Currently, Marley is also being gently accustomed to wearing a muzzle. Depending on the animal and its size, costs of between 30 and 120 euros per month add up – plus bowls, beds, leashes, or a scratching post. Vaccinations, deworming, and preventive care can be planned for. Surgery or dental treatment is not included. For dogs, dog tax and liability insurance are also required. Marley kam als Fundhund mit einem gebrochenen Vorderbein zu uns. Diese Verletzung ist jedoch schon lange vollständig verheilt und bereitet ihm seit Jahren keinerlei Probleme mehr. Marley ist ein aktiver und aufgeschlossener Hund, der gerne spazieren geht. Mit anderen Hunden kommt er sehr gut zurecht und zeigt sich im Umgang mit Artgenossen freundlich und sozial. Auch seine Leinenführigkeit ist sehr angenehm. Für ein Leckerli ist er jederzeit zu begeistern und immer motiviert mitzuarbeiten. Bei neuen Menschen benötigt Marley zunächst etwas Zeit, um Vertrauen aufzubauen. Hat man sein Vertrauen jedoch gewonnen, zeigt er sich als großer Schmuser, genießt Aufmerksamkeit und ist im Alltag ein unkomplizierter Begleiter. Wie viele Hunde hat auch Marley Situationen, die er weniger gerne mag. Er zeigt dabei aber deutlich und fair, wenn ihm etwas unangenehm ist – beispielsweise beim Tierarztbesuch oder beim An- und Ausziehen von Geschirr. Seine Körpersprache ist dabei gut zu lesen, sodass man seine Grenzen respektieren kann. Aktuell wird Marley zudem behutsam an das Tragen eines Maulkorbs gewöhnt. Je nach Tier und Größe kommen monatlich zwischen 30 und 120 Euro zusammen — dazu Näpfe, Körbchen, Leinen oder ein Kratzbaum. Impfungen, Wurmkuren und Prophylaxe sind planbar.
