Ayleen must be surrendered due to family reasons. Her former owners have separated, and both new living situations do not allow for dogs. Ayleen has arthritis/spondylitis (lumbar vertebrae) and possibly a herniated disc between the shoulder blades and is currently receiving pain medication (Onsior) when she is in pain or cannot walk. Ayleen needs either a temporary foster home or a permanent place by July 1, 2022. Due to her condition and delicate nature, the animal shelter would not be suitable for her, and the veterinarians are considering euthanasia as the better option to prevent her from suffering. However, we have been given some time to avoid this and find her a place. Ayleen is cuddly, loving, and friendly. She is people-oriented and open. She does not get along with fellow animals in the household or with cats. She needs people who can address her special needs, take care of her, and are willing to take in a dog with conditions. An ideal home would be a quiet one without young children. Ayleen is vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for rehoming. Ayleen muss aus familiären Gründen abgegeben werden. Ihre ehemaligen Halter haben sich getrennt und beide neuen Wohnsituationen erlauben keine Hunde. Ayleen hat Arthrose/Spondilose (Lendenwirbel) und evtl. einen Bandscheibenvorfall hinter den Schulterblättern und bekommt aktuell Schmerztabletten (Onsior), wenn sie schlecht oder nicht laufen kann. Ayleen braucht dringend bis zum 01.07.2022 entweder einen temporären Pflege- oder einen definitiven Lebensplatz. Im Tierheim würde es ihr aufgrund ihrer Beschwerden und ihres zarten Charakters nicht gut gehen, deshalb sprechen die Tierärzte bereits von Euthanasie als für Ayleen die bessere Option, um sie nicht noch mehr Leiden auszusetzen. Uns wurde aber noch ein Zeitpuffer gegeben, um dies abzuwenden und für sie doch noch einen Platz zu finden. Ayleen ist verschmust, liebevoll und freundlich. Sie ist menschenbezogen und aufgeschlossen. Mit Artgenossen im Haushalt, sowie mit Katzen, versteht sie sich nicht. Sie braucht Menschen, die auf ihre besonderen Bedürfnisse eingehen, sich um sie kümmern und bereit sind einen tollen Hund mit Beschwerden aufzunehmen. Ideal wäre ein eher ruhiger Haushalt ohne Kleinkinder. Ayleen wird geimpft, gechippt, mit Schutzvertrag und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von CHF 600.– vermittelt.
